Such amazing filmmaking, bikepacking and people all around. Loved your video and your style! I´ll be stalking you closely from now on. (it means I subscribed 😄) Greetings from Finland

@@DidiandHenry Hej.
I have to say, this bikepacking adventure is really well filmed, and the editing and color grading are so professional. I love the maps and graphic design. Now, what I don't like is that it feels like a Discovery Channel show where they make everything so dramatic and over the top. It's feels fake, especially the living room storytelling scenes. They just don't feel natural, like they've been scripted. Just my thoughts keep it real
Hi :) Thanks for the positive words and especially thanks for the critique - I really appreciate it. The living room (sync) shots are indeed scripted - they are a somewhat necessary "evil" I had to invent to get the story across the table - I could probably have done a better job, but at the time it felt like the right direction to go in. I'm super curious - how do you feel about the more recent episodes, specifically episode (10) 11 and 12 - that's the point where the format and the footage from the trip reach a potential where the sync is no longer needed. Do they feel more or less fake? Have a nice weekend. Henry
@@DidiandHenry yes much more natural those episodes 11 12 … few question what camera and editing equipment you using are you editing on the trail .. and how far you behind in the time line … ie 6 months
@@Bikepacking Thanks I'm glad to hear it :) There's a number of different cameras and lenses in the mix - Canon full frame, GoPro Hero 10, DJI mini 3 Pro and a couple of iphones. Editing and color is done in Davinci Resolve. I actually started editing on the road - but realized pretty quickly that it would steal too much time from the actual trip- so when the journey was over in July 2023 I started editing. It actually says - for future reference - in the description of each video, exactly when it took place.

Kauhajoki pronunciation was good. Tampere had e's and a's a bit mixed
Thanks for letting me know - glad we at least got one right 😅
Great characters with lots of ideas. This is a lot more than an adventure documentary.
Thank you very much. Your kind comment really means a lot to us. Thanks for watching 🤗
