- Manos the Hands of Fate! One of the mose excrutiating cinematic experiences any human being could put themselves through. It got a video game adaptation for some reason... let's take a look at it.

It's weird how much clearer and musically detailed the chip-tune versions are. Usually chip-tunes sound like a massively simplified version, but here they sound cleaned up and enhanced!
I'm shocked at how good the core music is once it doesn't sound terrible. These could have legitimately been well remembered NES tracks if they had appeared there first.
The editor was.....the auteur himself, Harold P. Warren! 😀 He was not asleep when editing, but DRUNK, and did it all in.....6 hours. I learned this while attending a screening of "Manos" and "Maniac" (1934) followed by a Skype Q&A with Jackey Neyman, who played Debbie (and she's an awesome adult :) ), who filled in that bit of Manos Lore Trivia.
I think the most impressive takeaway from this is the Manos soundtrack is actually awesome when it's 8-bit synth.
The battle against the Master theme is legitimately great boss music.
I have a soft spot for the "evil lounge music" on its own, but yeah the 8-bit covers are really great.
Gotta love the haunting "Torgo's Theme" lol
It's so awesome that someone was able to put tons of love and care into a video game from such shlock lol
Holy frick I remember watching this for gits and shiggles after seeing it on IHE's Search For The Worst. How and why something like Manos even receive a videogame adaptation is beyond me but looks like I'm gonna have something to enjoy over the holidays. Thanks funny tokusatsu youtuber
Saw this when MST3K tried to savage the film, and even THAT was hard to get through.
There might be harder episodes to watch but they can be counted on one maimed hand.
Seeing Joel and the bots break down and the Mads apologizing was a bit of a relief when it let child!me know that the movie really was that painful. Cathartic validation of pain I guess.
@@jasongarrett768 Yeah the only other one I can think of was the German Hamlet one.
Seriously, I could NOT believe that they created a video game linked to Manos. I teased on another thread that it was appropriate that the movie, made by a man who never made a movie, led to a video game that looked like it was made by someone who never saw a video game! 🤣🤣
Rifftrax should do a play through . 🍰
Well, all I can say is I’ve seen Manos at least 50 times and I never got through “dances with wolves” or “gone with the wind” once. It’s charming and entertaining in ways. That movies no longer are or ever will be again.
hell yeah another Jeremy Parish fan. You, Goldn, have good taste.
How about that reference from the skyrim mod "Odin"
Man! I only knew this film existed from how I met your mother.
ever since i hurt my knee skateboarding i been walking with a limp i cant stop thinking of that terrible music when i walk
Hands the Hands of Fate.
John Reynolds, Torgo, was pretty high while they were filming... that is why most of his scenes are super weird
Mike Nelson's Torgo is so funny.
DO SOMETHING!!!
I saw this video and literally said out loud "no fucking way." Manos is the worst movie I've ever had the pleasure of seeing. Good old MST3K. I can't even understand why someone could've wanted to make a game of this.
You know this game review is really late, but it is still fire. I wonder how...🤮
Worst movie or "Found Footage Genre Prototype"?
😎favorite worst movie looks like a fun nes game
This film has some noticeable flaws

I watched this flick for the first time today. Lemme tell ya, as a skinny dude with a mustache and a Doberman, I found The Master quite relatable lol
