@flyingtigerline Thank you so much very appreciated. l am so please people enjoy my efforts and like the same sort of stuff. It makes it all worthwhile. These aircraft deserve to be remembered, and the people involved with them, whatever they did 👍
This appears to have been a very good aircraft. It flew well, never crashed, never killed anyone, did everything it was asked to do and did it reasonably well. Shame she didn't go on to greater things. Nice episode
The pedigree of one of two aircraft companies that lead to the Mirage and Atlantique is shown through this gem of a design. Seemed to beat Douglas to their revolutionary design.
Another complete unknown, Gaul's very own DC2. You are so right that it seems to be an aircraft of unclaimed potential. Sadly, I suspect that if more had been produced they would have wound up sporting black crosses and taking Fallschirmjägers on their Crete vacation.
She was one-of-a-kind, and truly had the experiences of a lifetime! Appreciate the research and the bright story of a design that had multiple versions worldwide that proved its value.
How about a video on the potez 840? A failed attempt at a business/ small commuter aircraft from the 1960s. Looked a lot like a miniature vickers viscount.
In a general sense no, however the resemblance is partly due to the nose and windscreen similarity, and those were changed sometime between the mock-up and the flying aircraft, so hmmmm....
Another informative video about a little-known plane, thank you!
Thanks
Excellent video and a beautiful plane. I've loved airplanes since I was a little kid. Without your channel, life would be a lot less fun !!!

It'd be interesting to see a side by side with the DC2 and 247

Great Job! Sad story. I mean, there was the DC series in competition....
Another fine video. Thank you for your work on them.
Thanks. Glad you enjoy them.
12 passengers, with windows for at least 78 passengers.
saves electric power in the daytime 😉

Another interesting craft. Cheers!
thanks
Interesting to note that the engines were counter rotating, and even more so that the directions of rotation seem to have been reversed at some point.
nice

Know it well. On my list!
4:45 anyone know what the 4 engine job is in the background? Dosn't look like a FW Kurier
Sud-Est SE.161 Languedoc
No, Languedoc had twin tails. Sorry!
Bloch 160
Did you see it fly past the massive Bloch MB.300 Pacifique prototype in the airshow footage?
I was not sure what it was, Thanks.
Better specs than the DC3 but never went in to production?
Is this a DC series ripoff plane?
No. I mention this in the video.
