Old SS fan, this song brings back the nostalgia, but right after this song SS died.

@@georgivasilev8428 Nah, this was a great song to start off (made a lot of others think things were on-track again), but a lot of the other ones on the album were weaker, and so putting this one out left very little for people to look forward to. They produced the odd good song after this, but the pickings were slim. The one with Strid was good.

One of the best vocalists of all time has finally broken free from the chains that bounded and restricted him for years. This man got something precious that HE created ripped from his very fingers and morphed into something that he didn't want at all by fellow band members and record label management, but now, Richard Sjunnesson can rise up and triumph from it all!

Well, it's not that bad at all. I remember everyone hating on the band at this point. And I really liked the chorus and the bridge. But yeah, "We Rule the Night" was awful, with one exception. Nathan is a good vocalist, though.
I like the profile picture. The apocalypse DJ was a pretty good album.
Why does everyone have to bash a band when they produce an album whenever they produce an album with a different sound? THEY are the artist, THEY have the freedom to change their sound as much as they want.

I remember liking this song and Rebellion in Nightmareland a lot not even knowing it was Nathan singing and still to love them, how ever any other song from his and it's a hard no. Can't beat the old singers.

I didn't know about this band before and I see a lot of hate comments about people who supposedly left...well they might have been good or whatever, but if you like melodic death metal that actually has some musicality to it, this is good. and I don't care if it's whatever be it mainstream or not hardcore enough for some people or whatever..... this is good

This band is kinda crappy now. They used to have great songs. Try listening to The Unguided. Most of the band members from this band went to The Unguided. They're much better than these Monster advertising whores.

I know this is the song that made people not like this band anymore, but I still think this song is definitely one of the best songs with Nathan and you can't deny the music video is really good. you can tell a lot of work was put into this video.

I like all of Sonic Syndicate's stuff. I can hear the huge change between old and new, but to me it's all good music. And you guys should appreciate the direction these guys are heading towards. Change is good, so stop being afraid of it and tearing it down, and instead, support the bands that deserves it.

Sonic Syndicate and all of this other "new" metal used to be great to me when I was around the age of 16, but man it leaves so much to be desired. You guys that think this is the best shit ever sure are missing out on a lot.

Once a great band, but this is where the downfall began. "Love And Other Desasters" was a masterpiece. But since Roland Johansson has left the band, somrthing gone broken beyond repair. If a new album comes out one day, i will give them another chance.
I hope that it will be as great as the second and the third album, but still i do not expect much.

Just like I've been saying for weeks, Richard did leave. He originally announced his leave in early August and was finally let go today. They claim it was for "family reasons', but he actually left because of 4/6 members of Sonic Syndicate and Nuclear Blast management transforming the band that he helped create into mainstream shit and not giving him a say in what direction the band took because they'd rather take money over morals. Pretty disgusting. So glad Rich is free now.
