Hey guys! A very random video for y'all. 🤷♀️😌 I was clearing out my drawers and I stumbled upon my old revision (GCSE and beyond!). I was a messy child. Not very aesthetic, kinda functional, still not very effective. I hope that me going through some of my notes will help inspire your own revision, and reminds you that it's all so temporary! It also took me a long time to learn how to revise effectively. Hopefully you get the odd study tip from this video too!
School this time of year is tough. Do your best to stay afloat and also kinda maybe enjoy it... :) Reminiscing school dayz makes me realise how special of a time it is - cringe, but true. ❤️ Even the stress of exams is temporary. There's a weird collective strength in all having to go through it together. Good luck!!

Poetry anthology has two parts love and relationship OR power and conflict. Hack: use the section your not studying for GCSE for unseen poetry practice 😯😉

i will say though, this isn't always the case - for example igcse (which i did last year) doesn't have sections like this, we just had to do all of them (apart from in the coursework section) :( - this is a good tip if your anthology works like this though! :)

Everyone is different. I have always written my notes up and still do (now a 2nd year uni maths student). A difference now is that I make a complementary quiz sheet, so I don't have to stare at the notes but can learn them more actively!

I’m so glad I got this notification just as I was rewatching the Australia vlogs! I decluttered my year 11 stuff a few weeks ago and I was genuinely shocked at the difference in how I learnt them compared to now in year 13! Also thanks for your videos as always, they really do help me not only study but keep positive💓

When you said you waffled in your English book I felt that!! The amount of times I’ve got “can you make this more concise”...it’s a struggle. BUT then again I talk a lot so it’s clearly reflecting in my writing😭😭😂

10:02 I relate to you so much. Last year, I'd given 3 CIAE exams. One of them was social studies and I remember I used to write a lot. My teacher always used to say to me 'Write relevant, write brief' Looking back now oh what I wouldn't give to travel back to those years. And yes!!! I LOVE LOVE ENGLISH TOO. I've got a reputation for writing really dark stories and I remember once my Teacher came up to me when I was sitting on my desk with my head down and she might've thought I had a gloomy look on my face when I was just painfully looking forward for the class to start and school to end. You see, I'd social anxiety back then. I wasn't a social butterfly in my school years and I guess that fuelled my English teacher's suspicions that there wa something up with me and back to when she approached me, she asked me if everything was alright and fine LMAO. I don't really remember what happened after though I remember myself wondering and being utterly shocked.

I tend to write things that have hidden 'deep' meanings. I also write outright dark stories though
omg I used to write too much and really quick and then bc of my SEN it looked rlly bad and so now I literally type all my long written exams
I literally memorized the same case study as you for Iceland, our teacher doesn't do case studies with us, I found it myself in an old website, was likely to be a GCSE one, I take IGCSEs though
"20 farms were destroyed"
