I purchased an A2 in '86. Whilst she's long since gone. I still ride ( Z900RS ), but still have so many fond memories of 'Kelly'. I have often thought about purchasing one and restoring it, but TBH your videos have convinced me to leave well alone! I can't wait to see it once finished though.
Unfortunately COVID stopped the filming of this series. Would love to restart this channel. Please subscribe as if I hit 2k subscribers I would be motivated to start again.
Love it that you replaced with original exhaust. Black chrome for the win!! If you look at japan's ebay the original exhaust (with chrome) still exist for about $120. That's how I got mine.
@@danijelcar5184 Greating from the UK. Superb bikes. Wishing you the best of luck with the rebuild. Hopefully the videos will help. If you haven't already could you like, subscribe and share my channel. I'm hoping to start making video again soon and really need some more subscribers.
@@FixRideExplore I'm sure you will find all the bits you need on our FB group. it sucks for me trying to get anything from GPZ zone right now they wont ship to Australia due to covid :(
Love what you do so much I bought the bike, its sitting alongside my 20004 zx10r and my 1972 cb750 four and is more than holding its own, beautiful bike, great job
I very much enjoy watching your videos, great inspiration even though my GPZ 900 - 85 is in good condition. Thank you very much and of course I´ll subscribe.
Thanks Wilhelm. We've had to put the GPZ rebuild on hold but hopefully be able to finish it off soon. Both of our days jobs have ramped so time is currently a premium. Really appreciate your comment and for subscribing. If we can hit 1000 subscribers I'll book a day of work and finish another video to upload.
I really enjoy your videos, specially because they are about the GPZ900. Though I was expecting more in deep about the restoration and larger "how to" videos.
Great feedback thank you. Our intention at this point isn't about creating 'How to" videos but it might be something we do one day, but it's all about time or lack of. We both work full time so everything we do has to done with our own spare time and money. If time wasn't an issue and we were paid to do this there's no doubt this channel would be so much more. At this stage we're just capturing and sharing our rebuild journeys but always try our best to answer any questions.
Love what i’m seeing. Only one question. All is reconditioned beautifully except for the brake disc on the wheels that have a new lick of paint. Will you keep it that way?
Yes the project was finished but sadly COVID stopped the filming in it's tracks. Would love to start this channel up again so please subscribe. The subscription number really helps make it worthwhile.
Great video just got a gpz900r in bits, your video helped can you help on the cylinder head at the rear above the carb,s is a water pipe 2 16mm o rings where does the small rubber hose with the right angled section go too, andy
It's an Illness! I've ended up with 2 GPZ's now! one i'm just doing a light mechanical resto. It's only got 12000 miles on and been sat for 20 odd years! and the other is just a pile of parts... I'm doing a full front and rear end swap and something to boost power? maybe a turbo or fancy carbs and cams? how are you guys getting on?
Hello Zunaid. Yes we're very conscious of this. 2021 has been so busy we have both have very limited free time and being in and out of lockdown has made this even harder. The good news is the bike is almost finished and were planning to wrap it up with some filming in the new year. It takes a lot of time to do the work and filming and editing almost doubles it. Keep subscribed and you'll get notified when the final video is uploaded. Rob
Hi maby you can give me advice, Im building a GPZ 900R but changing the suspension, what can I do to fit a bigger rim at the back. Ive already put in a zx7r dront end and want to use the rear rim as well. Thanks
Sadly COVID stopped the filming in it's tracks. Bike was finished but we couldn't film it. I'm hoping to kick start the channel again so please subscribe.
'Morning...It would be better if the videos were more detailed and lasted a little longer. We, the beginners, need to see things in more detail. Thank you very much for us...
Hello Vincent. Thank you for the feedback. I filmed everything to create a bolt by bolt blow for the engine strip down and rebuild videos and also long descriptive video for the starter clutch issues and rehuild. Is this the format and detail you prefer.
Sadly COVID stopped the filming in it's tracks. We couldn't travel to each others so it scuppered the whole channel. Would love to kick start the channel so please subscribe.
Need ep 9 and on and on! come on boys. Love it

It's doubtful they won't get replaced or spruced up. This is Brian we're talking about here. He loves giving things a lick of paint.
Subscribed. Did you finish the project? Can you post a video to the finished product?!
It did get finished and sadly sold. COVID stopped all filming but I'll try and find the finished bike pics. Might be a video or two there.
Did this project ever get done? Would have liked to seen one of the bikes finished. Hope all is well.

Hey there. We had to stop filming due to COVID and other commitments. The bike was completed and we sadly parted with it. Was painful to say goodbye.
Hi Buddy from South Africa 🇿🇦. I subscribed and was looking forward to the completion of this project. No videos since this one? 😢
