I guess, this is the best American documentary about space I've ever seen. It's not extremely sensational, loud, disturbing and overbidding as most American documentaries, but calm, relaxing, interesting and also exciting.
And very poorly written. Most of these so called problems are not problems at all.Like Olbers paradox which assumes infinite number of stars which is absurd.
Bro, your enthusiasm and positive attitude is infectious. Wicked project, love it. Subbed. GSXR dirt-bike is on thing. An Amish battle buggy is something else. Never stop bro.
I appreciate your work and your channel. Thank you so much. The production values are insane. Though this is only a 4 hour video but I'll still sleep to it and hopefully learn sonething new.
A Space Elevator would make Mass irrelevant in relation to building an interstellar space craft. The reason there are weight restriction considerations in regard to space craft is because they have to overcome the Earth's gravity and launch into space. But if you construct a space elevator and build your space craft outside the Earth's atmosphere then how much that space craft weighs doesn't matter. Your space craft could weigh a million tons on Earth but in space it weighs nothing. If we ever decide to travel to an exo planet we won't do so by building a puny spaceship that has to first leave the Earth's gravity well. It will have to be large enough to contain heavy anti radiation shielding, require all the equipment needed to set up a colony on another planet which would take up a lot of space and be very very heavy. Anyway, that thought occurred to me while watching this film. I love stuff like this, it makes me think and there's little on terrestrial tv that can do that.
Well, it's not unlikely we can teleport matter in the form of light. For that, we just need the technology to extract the correct arrangement and type of all atoms in a body into a digital file, send it with light to another location and then recreate the body with that digital information at the new location.
@ Correct.. and matter is "frozen" or in mass stored energy. Thus it should be possible to turn matter into energy and then this energy back to the exactly identical matter.
A 24/7 stream of space documentaries sounds like the ultimate way to relax and learn! Do you think the endless exploration of space makes it easier to drift off, or does it keep your mind buzzing with curiosity?
we would need force fields before we can go interstellar, no radar system would be able to identify a pea sized rock, and at the speed you would need to be going, it would rip through the ship like paper!
If suspended animation hasn't been invented yet, what's with the 200 people's body parts that have been cryopreserved in an Arizonian facility. And all this stuff about radiation and metorite strikes, surely applies to the moon landings and voyager missions ?
10min, talking about cryo, outloud I said "You mean killing them?" and the next line was "Significantly reducing the resources needed." Ah serendipity 😂💀
Fun question can a black hole become so massive that not even gravity can escape ? In a sense, warping space time around its self to the point ware cuts its self off from the known universe, thus swallowing its self and falling out of the universe
14.6 mi per second or whatever he said. My mind goes in miles per hour. Me and the other million people that are watching this don't have a clue what 14.6 miles per second means. When will these idiots get it through their minds that were not rocket scientists. Or astrophysicist. Or just normal people most of us are blue collar workers. No I watch the stuff because I truly enjoy it. I just wish they knew who their actual audience is. Because very few of us went to Harvard with a physics degree. Or MIT. I darn sure didn't go to Cal Tec. Ok. I have spoken my piece.
The fact is this walk weight dilemma thing will always be a concern because if you think about it let's say now the target is Proxima Centauri and we figure OK we could have a generational ship that might take hundreds of years to get there or we might be able to develop Matter antimatter technology that could get us there in less than five, but then let's say we discover that there is a much more earthlike planet That is 100 light years away, and we've developed the matter anti-matter tech but are now on the verge of breaking the light speed barrier. Then the question is do you send a crew the five years to Proxima Centauri on the off chance something there might be habitable keeping in mind at that time we might have a little more knowledge, do you send them on what could easily be a generational ship to even at 90% of light speed to get to the much more promising planet 100 light years away, or do you wait another few decades until we've broken the light speed barrier and we can get to the hundred light year away planet in as long as it would at that time take us to get to Proxima Centauri? No matter how advanced we get, the question will still remain as to which path to follow.
A synergy is greater than the sum of it's parts? Perhaps an opportunity to create potential that is greater than the potential within the parts? Perhaps similar to a vector?

Life in no way a random accident. most science in today proves that. Fine tuning of the universe alone, add our moon? That's a very hard fact to overlook. And no life on mars but here the bottom of the ocean, the deeepest has life living by lakes of liquid methane. And mans religions are just as absurd. We're missing something deeper but make no mistake you have the greatest gift in the universe. And that's not a random accident!
🪐 The universe is curved. M-theory suggests that our universe is more like a soup bubble that floats in a higher dimension. Everything, spacetime, energy, and matter all exist within the soap. It appears flat, but if we had a telescope to enable you to see across the universe, you'd eventually see the back of your head

I was napping to another video and this one came up next. Guess youtube knew I was sleeping. Had a great nap lol. Thanks!
lmfao for real, same happened w me

.....you think that this ABC News segment about drones was the best video in the history of RUclips?
That's a hot take. May I ask why?
thank you for an awesome presentation!
Not feeling the awe, pwesonally ... why do Americans go from a standing start to awe in a heartbeat? You puff things up for no reason ....

Was thinking the same thing. It sucks that a real voice is slowly becoming a novelty in educational videos.
"24/7 Stream Space Documentary for Sleep" Me watching the entire video without sleeping
Amazing documentary..i will make sure i share amongst friends
I usually wake up to Wolfram physics project for some reason but now it was this! Great! :D Also this was more interesting.

To reach the speed of light, one needs to think in terms of turning solid matter into pure energy.
Well, it's not unlikely we can teleport matter in the form of light. For that, we just need the technology to extract the correct arrangement and type of all atoms in a body into a digital file, send it with light to another location and then recreate the body with that digital information at the new location.
Pure energy is utter nonsense.Energy is just term for ability to perform work.

It sure looks that way but it s not an end, just a final state of being.Penrose with conformal cyclical universe thinks it s a start as well.
