What a fascinating interview! I had no idea that Lee knows so much about Shamanism. Maybe that's why he approved of my video of his Mayan birthday! He is called "Understanding Corn", which could also be called "Understanding Pillars of Light", because the Maya say that corn is physicalized pillars of light which was a gift from the Gods.

Thank you Lee. Not that I know much, but growing up in a Indigenous (american native) village, It makes me kinda sad for many non- native people who never grew up experiencing, participating or being taught about mankind’s connection to Spirit. Never taught about our connection to Our Mother, the earth; never taught about our connection to one another and to the Universe. When I say the Universe, that includes the Star People.. we didn’t call them Extra terrestrials, Paladians, etc.etc. We just knew they existed an honored them as our sisters and brothers.
This is amazing to me, thanks. I explain this when I am interviewed about shamanism and ETs. That in indigenous cultures they would not have 'white people' conversations about extraterrestrials (still trying to figure it out, and is it real or not). Instead, our star brothers and sisters have been part of indigenous culture since the beginning of time. It is normal for you the indigenous to have these cosmic star relationships, and that to me is beautiful.

Our People have had healers, medicine people for thousands of years. They were chosen by Spirit to possess the power from Spirit to do what they do. Now, it seems that the non-native seekers and even some of our people who were seriously colonized by the non indigenous are becoming shamans. Some to impress those easily impressed by anything woo woo. There is no Spirit behind it and they have not gone through the teachings that are required to reach that level. Some even do it for money.. They find the gullible or often, the thirsty for knowledge, who believe anything just because somebody claims to be a “Shaman” and thus, the teachings get adulterated. As an Indigenous, I ask Creator Spirit, Great Mother to temper them and for them to stop asking questions that should be obvious. Wait… pray.. you will get answers if your Heart is True.
I do indeed know this. Thank you for sharing for your beautiful lineage. I speak about this on stage and venues, explaining where shamanism came from (most do not know its inception was 2.6 million years ago), and that 'saman' is the word from Siberia for shaman, meaning ‘one who knows.’. I share about how many are stepping up BUT have not been chosen by their community, lineage nor spirit to be a shaman. But the GREAT news is the shamanic practices, I think, are the answer to healing Pachamama (mother earth) and humanity at this time of Pachacuti in our crossroad of choices. I believe shamanism, led by real shamans and indigenous practices, is the way. Thanks. :)
