Miss the days when AWC had a no addon rule
I had to hold back my comment just in case Aeg reads it and decides to "adjust" his win rate.
He has higher win rate than with addons, isn't that finally proof enough to anyone, that addons do not matter as much as you think?
Of course Aeg is top tier player, but that's the whole point. Good players will STILL be good or even better!!! without addons than the ones complaining about the addons. That means if all addons were gone, the majority would perform even worse and have a waaaaaaay worse time playing arena. It would probably feel to them like they play against cheaters with god mode and one shot cheats. Remember, Aeg is playing against people WITH addons and is at 70%+ win rate, if these people had NO ADDONS, then Aeg would be most likely at 95%+ win rate. Let that sink in.
@@shadowbanned3044 buddy he was playing from 0 elo, what do you mean he has a higher winrate than his main with thousands of thousands of games? LOL, ur argument makes 0 sense, of course he has a high winrate against people who dont even play close to your main elo.
You can reflect this example to every competetive online game.

To make it clear: I do not refer to his main mage, I do refer to all his mages.
It's a simple fact, they all started at 0 "elo" at some point and yet this mage has the highest win rate.
Obviously, it's not about comparing the numbers 1:1, it's about the fact, that addons don't do as much as people think... you still need to understand and process the information. Do the addons make life easier, yes of course, that's why they exist in the first place but it's delusional thinking that the game would be better without addons and that's the point. Good players would be even better and worse players even worse.
I hope you were able to comprehend the point now.

I think you point out maybe a potential nice change they could implement for mages. Make the alter time animation that only pops up above your head initially actually stay there until it actually is used or disappears.
