Discipline is the key for day trading ! Completely agree ! Thanks for setting an example and sharing it !
I made a 100% gain since yesterday, thanks kitty! 🐈
Did not expect to see GameStop and amc roaring to life this morning. This is huge
it'd be hillarious that if the huge financial brokers all hedged on shorting game stop, and they owe so much that it is the black swan event.
Riiight
Not anymore
Funny, after watching some of your excellent videos, today was my first time trying day trading. After watching GME premarket I decided to get in at a good point around 25.00, but since I'm new and not very confident yet my feet got a little cold and sold right after open on a small dip lol. Sold all 50 shares at around 27.00, then immediately saw there were 12 straight 1 min green candles and it spiked to 38! So I coulda made 50% returns in under 30 minutes my first time trying this! Ugh! At least I made profit though.
You did better than I did today. Good job.
run away from meme stocks, bro. If you want to day trade, stick to blue chip stocks.
Don't listen to the news, don't listen to stocktwits, webull, or any other community. They are all hijacked by the institutions. Retailers can't move stocks. Be safe. Best of luck
Change "at least I made profit" to "I made profit" and you'll have a lot more success moving forward.
I didn't take a single trade today because I didn't see an obvious opportunity. I look at it as I just didn't risk capital today. Not that I didn't trade when I coulda woulda shoulda'd.
If today was your first time daytrading, you have no idea the ride that your in for. You will see things and have all sorts of emotion and see money flip so fast you didn't know was even possible. Sometimes I do pretend trades in my mind to see what could have been. I'm literally a trillion air in my head of the trades I took lol
@@gabemckay6718sounds like you’re a trader and not a gambler 🙂
Actually caught a move 20 mins ago of gme , on the crawl back up Dip off support 9 EMA and got my self up 330$ , maintained discipline when it was rushing higher at the start of the day so i didn’t chase it, glad i took a trade right now when macd is green , so i traded the frontside of the move.
Hope everyone was green today!
Or maintained discipline keep it up!
Roaring Kitty bout to go bananas 🍌
Congrats Ross on maintaining discipline! I did the same by only using my small account to take the risk and buy in at $29.34. i fold this morning at $59.34 itoo was watching it and kicking myself watching it at $22 that morning. Thanks for helping me achieve awareness snd discipline! 🙏🙏🙏
loved it "Comparison is the thief of joy"
"Based on these levels it seems like a bad idea to trade"
"I'd likely get into some trouble trading"
"Now i did end up trading it"
lol
It's doubled since too!
GREAT points to live by. Thank you Ross
Thx Ross. I needed this talking to
Really good insights on this day.
Love the way you put it. Discipline and gratefulness .
thanks for this video !!
Nice to see these kinds of trades. Thanks xx
I didn't start trading until 2023, so I missed GME. Just kinda had to trade it this morning. Scalped $48, then another $30 later. Fun! But more to the point, maybe this is going to bring some excitement to the market. Momentum? We'll see!
500 dollars a day is 340 more than nominal lower wages.
Great outlook on this Ross!
Reading your book now, I have been flying through it and it's good to see you practice what you preach...it's helping already...ordered the mindfulness book as well..
I try to remember a small green day is always better than any red day. I really appreciate you mentioning that with your P/L today
Everything you said today is exactly right!! Exactly how I felt and I learned a few more things today .. thank you so much !!
just a shame he didn't mention IT yesterday
I respect Ross for sticking to his strategy and not letting the next hot thing distract him. This differentiates the professionals from rookies
Enjoyed hearing your share of tradi g. Thanks, Ross.
Great video
Made 600 today :)
But I agree about all the peculiar things you mentioned about GME.
2nd green day! Keep up the discipline and fight against fomo and emotions
I signed up for the 2 week trial and started last Monday. Best $19 I've spent on my trading education. Awesome community.
I did ok with GME. Got 100 bucks out of the market in my main account. Then, broke my rule and tried trading in my roth too. Took a huge hit and managed to give back nearly all of it. Still ended the day up by 4 dollars, but decided to close it down on that size of a loss.
I like the more level headed response in this video. The numbers people are calling are ridiculous. Apes had 3 years to prepare but guess what so have the shorts. I'm excited for a June 2021 style run but I'm not holding my breath.
Thank you Ross. This is a superstar segment. Small green beats big red all day, every day.
I liked your analogy of the taxicab, after you get your ride, who cares where it goes when you're done. FOMO. I HAVE THAT WRITTEN ON A STICKY NOTE. Thank you sir . PS just bought your book and the one you recommended by Gary Dayton.
Hi Ross thanks for the video. I have a traderview account linked with my brokerage and i was wondering where you locate the profit and loss calendar that i see on some of your videos? Thanks.
I have a few questions. If one of the five most important criteria to enter a day trade is NEWS, Is it not also news that the stock is up 10% on 5X volume? And it seems all stocks up 10% have 5X more than average volume even 4 hours before the market opens so is that as important as the other 5 criteria?. 10% up, a small spread, good volume the last 3, 5, and 10 minutes, stocks over $1, and daytrade them before 11 AM EST seems to cover it all.
idk about all this stock stuff, but what camera are you using, this setup looks really nice quality
Someone poisoned the water hole!
Can you really use any chart on a stock that is being over manipulated?
are ypp trade amc this morning?
what about AMC?
surely ur scanner would have picked up novavax second day??
New to your channel. Two quick questions: What platform do you trade on, and where do you do your research?
Ross uses Lightspeed for his broker. He also uses Day Trade Dash scanners and charts, which are available to all of our members. You can learn more about them below:

Great video Ross, thank you. I did a lot of scalping today, taking small profits where I could, AMC was pretty good for that.
Hi Ross, the market is heating up , can we see some pre market live trading on you tube??
Big Lots is next 🚀🚀🚀🚀
I was thinking the same thing, but I didn't trade it. Thanks Ross
Want to get into stocks & trade but not sure of the best broker to use 😥🤔 Please help 🙏🏽
can do amc??
This move on GameStop and AMC is not going to fade, this is just the beginning
I check GME on Level 2, the price movement so fast and don't think its suitable for my small account.
All about trading what works for you.
Does the 2 week trial, allow you to watch the recorded live trading for the day?
Ross does not record his trading every day. We do provide a few sample Live Trading recordings with our Pro Preview. You can email out team at team@warriortrading.com to learn more.
Man had to go to the dentist this morning haven't even been able to look at the platform!! Of course!! I just need to accept it and know that another one will come like they always do I still struggle with that emotion though
I had GME on my daily WL and it had 5min 2Bar Play. But a huge gap to the day before. So I I di not enter. The theory played out well though, It moved 3R (Sloss under Low of the day at that time) but got haltet 2 or 3 times. But since I'm still on No-pattern trader account I did not move in. If it is really a thing, Tuesday and Wednesday will draw a solid line on price level and I might join.
I have to respectfully disagree with you Ross. I think DFV posting again is so huge, we could be in for a wild week
And its now at $38 after hours
Right now i only had $10 dollars to throw on AMC but hey, im up 33 percent ($3.80)😂😂 @zebo86
And now $78 pre market
great job ross! you managed to maintain a level headed approach. when trading it’s tough to do, but has to be done if one is in it for success in the long term.
Also paranoid that Robinhood would shut down the stock again. And I couldn't use any margin on this stock
Yes sir hard to predict and you said it it’s a distraction for sure
Most people are taught that "you only need a good job to become rich". These billionaires are operating on a whole other playbook that many don't even know exists.
What's your feeling on EZ- go
I stopped watching this channel for a few years because I needed to get my life together, I finished college and finally got a decent job 4 years later, im ready to learn this again
I also made some money on CCLD today. Thank you for your honest perspective on this!
@Daytradewarrior895 😂😂😂
I also made 11% gain on CCLD today. Nothing like some ppl making $120K on GME calls today, but didn't jump on GME as I knew I will be too emotional.
In my small account I Got in at the break of 30$ and held all day while at work with a limit sell order set for 37$.
Went to log in my position sold for me and I was up over 20%
Why didn’t you consider the MACD cross over but only that one red candle at the open? As you mentioned in past, a news is a news, quality or knowledge may not matter first, then you should have bought at cross over. I am new so I just watched so didn’t make any profits, want to understand why one red candle overshadowed macd gap built up
Hey Ross, just started getting into your videos, haven't really made any moves into day trading yet, but I love learning from your content. Do you have a list of books you like to recommend reading for new prospective day traders?

Has anyone her of or used evergreen analysis pro.
I like your point on gme. Unfortunately it's just one of those things where I feel it's not the same scenario as it was a few years ago. Although some may feel hope bc of highs it's reached in the past. Something I call short and sweet. Meaning it was fun while it lasted and on to the next.
It was extremely volatile, I did trade it numerous times and I’m positive for the day. Using a small account. I think the first two halts were less risky… I did put stop loss in but it was hard to get it within 3 cents. after that very risky and I didn’t trade it then.
did anyone tell them to use vanguard to trade gme.
Today was my 1st official day option trading and I missed all this action. I made $69 off $700 on KOSS. But I didn't hear about GameStop or AMC until midday after I got out. I can't wait to get over $25K so I can do more than 3 trades a week. But this video made me feel way better about not trading these stocks today and taking it slow.
whats an ideal float size and volatility for you?
Under 25 million float, the more volatile the better. However, risk management can be more nuance on higher range stocks.
Awesomeness thanks for the response. Love the videos here!
Always dropping transparent gems.
Ross I saw it at $20 5am said nah too high not buying 2 hours later it’s @ $30 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯
In the live trading room Shawn captured 8 dollars in GME and people complained that he should of captured $10.
That was awesome but some are never happy.
I think GME have an annual meeting at the end of this week? Things could get very interesting here...
Paper trading day 6: another red day. I pretty much gambled with KOSS, also was distracted by the new 10s chart that I put on my screen... made two trades above $4.90 resistance right into $5.00 resistance - all the while low was waaay below at $4.45 (which I missed and actually had even more loss). Gambled once again and gained enough to recoup the first trade's loss and a bit of second, but that was still a bad trade, as it could have been another loss. Did a pretty good small profit trade with CCLD close to 5M 9EMA on break of resistance at $2.18 - sold at $0.17/share profit. Overall down $40 for the day. Analyzed my trades for the 6-day period and was surprised to see that what seemed to me like great trades were mostly actually mediocre or sometimes even bad (like today's winning KOSS trade) and some that I thought bad were also not that bad or even good with the information I had at the time. So out of 18 trades 6 were really good, 6 mediocre (meaning I could have done better or that I just couldn't see the lesson in those) and 5 bad (including today's 3 KOSS trades). Oh well... learning is hard.
How are u red today lol just buy GameStop 😂
@@BossmanRat I did not trade GameStop 😁
I been waiting, knew you would be talking gme............................
Almost chased AMC at the very top but caught myself just in time. Made a nice little scalp on GME and didn’t push my luck either. Trying to stay aware of where my trigger points are when I get in at bad entry points. Had a good green day and even got to get out of LIDR with a little profit, but only traded it because I’d bagholding since Friday. Risk management is still my number one pitfall and challenge.
i bought 100 GME @28.5 and 30 shares @36.5 and sold them all @ 33.
Same. It looked like it was going to dip. It did but it came back up
Bro $500 a day is my goal I have 8 months trading Only trade NQ futures.. its what's working for me as of now .. I can make 6-$800 away from the charts with resting bracket orders
$500 a day keeps that 9-5 away lol
Another Gamestop flash sale....I hate chasing stock with fomo as MY catalyst and wondering how many bagholders would dump just as I got in. No thanks. Played small ball today with CCLD and NVAX, and didn't have much confidence in them either.
On to Tuesday.
Comparison IS the theif of joy. Preach
Canopy Growth 🚀🚀🚀
Just bought a 100 shares of gme
up $13 on gme. 5 position. up $10 on amc. it was fun trading these but i never would've put a lot of cash on them. read that shorts got wiped out by $1 billion. hope it was the bad guys.
Ok Ross yes you evercised discipline I applaud you but what about tomorrow GME marches right through any resistance but ur right it can drop like a penny stock no it ain’t only one day tomorrow gunna be insane
Among my problems is putting blinders on. I saw that NVX was on the move. So everything else took a back seat. So I was totally unaware of GME. Even then, I only managed a couple dollars. Zigged, when I should have zagged".
I made my most successful trade with NVAX today, just because I was looking at it when it happened and I didn't sell at target since the price was moving up so fast, I just adjusted my stop lost higher and higher. I saw GME but it was constantly halted so I couldn't buy and I have no idea what would happen with those halt (I mean to my money and the price action) so I stopped looking at it.
Like you I knew this was no good. CNBC mentioned it many times calling it a "gamble". I do not hear them use those words very often. I did trade it myself and I consider myself lucky to have made money on it. Nothing huge, $100, but I remembered what you always say, "Do not overstay your welcome" so I left it alone. My only trade of the day.
Looking for under $10 stocks, I skipped GME and took AMC and did pretty good.
AMC was a bit of a grinder, but you could buy and then sell 5 to 10 minutes later for a profit nearly the whole day. I only took one trade at lunch and bagged a small winner.
Ended up not trading GME today. Didn't fit into my risk management strategy so was a no-go
Addendum: I really appreciate these postmortem analyzes that you do each day. More than anything, they have helped me become and remain a consistently profitable day trader.
"Comparison's the thief of joy." Amazing saying, really can make a person realize to be grateful even for the small wins in life. A win is a win, always better then a loss. Love the positive energy good sir. Keep up the great work 👍.
I LITERALLY remember Ross in 2021 saying on his stream.... _I don't care what some Reddit post says about GME_
I have 2 questions 1) how did roaring kitty have such a huge affect on the market?? 2) can someone explain or help me understand how ACIU with the big catalyst of Alzheimer’s medication had such a huge rejection??
i lost 335 shouldnt of traded i missed my opertunity cuz broker site was down and watched the stock i was going to trade go up 3 dollars!! So i traded later when the site worked and lost on 2 trades. Still a disciplined red day. New rule for me only trade in the early morning hours
I think because the markets have been so cold lately, people are going after meme stocks. If this was a hot market, this wouldn’t happen. With that being said, I believe there is more action ahead because people are bored, and want to see some type of action.
So why not just buy a small amount and just see what happens are than buy nothing? If it “moons” you’re in at least and if it doesn’t you’re not out anything of significance
When you feel a surge of emotion, you become a mere gambler, not a professional. I’m glad you remained a professional because that is the real win.
My favorite stock😊
$255 and grateful :)
Bearish divergent❤
💥Hello. Sounding like a 12 step program towards the end . Everyone get in line. "Hello. I'm Rich. I'm a bag holder." "And I scalp NVDA". . . . That Ross is a nice guy. 💥
No trade day today for me 🤷♂️
I didn't trade it because you said not to! I knew RoaringKitty was back yesterday but listened to my teacher amyway, cuz( that's how it's spelled btw) I trust you more than RoaringKitty! 😢 Now I have to trade futurez for a prop firm. Why? Because I'm only a profitable stock trader in the sim. 😂
