Human brains are capable of insane coordination. If you think about how much coordinated movement goes into throwing a baseball well and the tiny margin of error needed to throw it on target, the coordination to play multiple beats on time isn't even in the same ballpark of complicated! It's literally just practice practice practice, the difference is people spend their entire childhoods practicing how to throw things, we usually don't spend the same formative years practicing metal drumming, which is why it comes as less natural, despite being significantly simpler coordination.

I so dearly remember my brother introducing me to this song when i was younger and finding this video probably around 9 years ago. and its been something i've never forgotten. the intro making you look to me like some master drum ninja. the extreme look of your set. i very clearly remember thinking the placement of your snare was extremely cool and unique seeing as how growing up seeing my dad play and later introduce me to the drums he always had his snare pushed left. replaying over and over again the cymbal splash run in the chorus. this video dug deep into my person and my cherished memories. and while i might not play anymore today this video i think is an integral part of why ill remain a drummer at heart. everytime i see this video again im that 10 year old kid again wanting to be a famous drummer when i grow up. thanks for being such a big part of my childhood man

I just remembered about this video and I remember the days when I was about 8 or 9 and just only had 5 gallon buckets and would turn table chairs upside down and tape covers on them as the symbol drums.
