This is actually a GREAT video for learning what to do instead of get upset or panic your day isn't going to plan. I still felt my stomach sink at all of poor Molly's misfortunes, but she is a dang PRO and knows exactly what to do when things go wrong. That tip is gold, honestly. Knowing what to do when your plan A isn't going to happen. Sorry you had such a bummer day but thank you for showing everyone the best way to handle it!
My husband and I have a mantra for when things go wrong - "It's not a vacation, It's an adventure".
Love this ❤️
I love this perspective!!!
A bad day in Magic Kingdom is better than a day at work!!
preach!
Or a good or average one (and I love my job)!😅
Right!?!. Good lord 1st world problems
🤣🤣🤣🤣
I wonder if those that work in the magic kingdom would share your sentiment.
The exact thing happened to us on our trip way back in 2002. Literally every ride we went on, or tried to broke while we were in line, the Jungle Cruise broke down with us on it, in the rain. We sat on the broken boat, while other boats passed us up, for almost 2 hours, in the rain. We had such a bad day that my husband brought us to city hall and they verified all of the closures and offered us half priced tickets for the next day, front of the line privileges, and a spot on the bridge for the parade the next day, that turned into the best trip ever.
Yes this is why I love molly! I used to watch Disney vlog channels that use editing to make the entire day look magical and then I would go to Disneyland and feel so bothered whenever things went wrong because I thought I just had bad luck. But Molly proves that it happens to everyone and you can still have a good day even if it’s not how you planned or imagined.
I would love to see a behind the scenes/week in the life of All Ears/Molly when it comes to planning and balancing all these videos!
The most realistic MK day in one video....Thank you Molly 😅
"perfect day in mk"
"near perfect day in mk"
a day in mk"
the clock captions were truly the highlight of this video
Clock captions?
Sounds about right XP
(Edit, I thought you meant Closed Captions and autocorrect butted in, sorry, my bad.)
A bad day at Disney is still a lot better than a great day at work. You go Molly. Thanks for the life lesson.
Love how the captions under the time stamps evolved as the video went sideways lol. Great job salvaging, this was very entertaining.
One MK day both my kids started crying for various reasons. I started to cry too because nobody was having fun and I had planned so hard, etc. etc. It was lunch time and we were sitting around the table upstairs at Columbia Harbor House. My husband was the only one not crying and he said he felt like a jerk. After we ate and rested, everything was alright again. I’ll never forget that time. We look back on it and laugh now.
This is so realistic mom's can have meltdowns too, especially if feeling underappreciated for being the magic coordinator. Naps make everything better 🤣
So again, can’t thank you enough for making these videos Molly. I go with the fam next week and am expecting all the setbacks you showed in this video. But thanks to you, I’m banking on my plan B’s, C’s and my plan D’s to ensure a magical day/week no matter what happens. Thanks for always giving us options and for the reminder that we are ultimately in control of our Disney experience. Can’t wait to see you and thank you for all the tips in person!
I love how she opened the video a la law and order style with the “dun dun”
Molly! You never fail, EVER! Now, back to Coffee ☕️😎😋
I appreciate this video. This is real life. Molly is proving things happen..and they are not always great. Still, some great tips (although I would have personally gone 7 dwarfs if you are at the front of the park opening line or Big Thunder Mountain if you are not, then splash and jungle cruise unless you have little kids, then hit the fantasyland dark rides for really short lines). So great to see you keep your sense of humor throughout. :)
Molly needs her own channel.... I’m loving this honesty here. You are the best.
Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It would have a million subscribers by now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
10/10 WOULD WATCH
I second that!
Yes she's great, I'm not even sure I've watched this channel before
In the UK we say, you can wait ages for a bus and then three come along at once.
Molly wasn't wearing her ears! They must be magic!
Oh my word I think you’re right! No ears...no magic! 💫
I was thinking the same thing!
This video is really about a girl pursuing her true love, corn dog nuggs.
😂😂
🥰😋🌽🐕🦺😋🥰
In the magical justice system, perfect day fail based offenses are considered especially heinous. In Walt Disney World, the dedicated detectives who investigate these vicious felonies are members of an elite squad known as the Baker Street Unit. These are their stories... *DUN DUN*
Lol this was hilarious
Truly beautiful
🤣🤣
😄
lol This wins the internet today!
Happiest place on earth? Better than a hundred bucks to get in, rides broken, lines way too long no food available. Sounds more like a day at a skid row carnival.
Come sit by me.😊
Days like this happen, it just stinks for people who drive forever and only have one day in the park
Drive? I took a 8h flight from Brazil in a once in a lifetime vacation (before pandemic) and had a very similar day kkk but I'm glad those are still good days
I love this video! It’s nice to see Molly being able to relax a little and have fun even though everything is going wrong. My favorite thing about vacationing is taking time to stop and smell the roses. I’d much rather just relax and enjoy than run around trying to “do everything.” I’m so excited about my Disney trip coming up...39 days!!!!
Who else loves the videos dedicated to molly?
It’s kinda the only reason we watch all ears
I would like to say that I watch all ears, but I actually just come here for the Molly content.
Molly, Thanks for posting this video. This is exactly what happened to my husband and I in November. We actually started with a plan very similar to yours. Every time we turned around, something was broken. For the first time ever, the popcorn I got was terrible (I did not take the time to go to your favorite cart). But I loved Mine Train and we had a much better day at EPCOT the next day! Win some, lose some.
Hey Molly! My daughter and I loved seeing you and saying "Hi" in MK this day! I think you should have stayed in the Splash Mountain line. We got to that line a little after you did that second time and we waited for 35 minutes. The posted time was 50 min. We had just gotten off when we saw you getting ready to sit down with your coffee. Then we managed to hit Haunted Mansion and Big Thunder Mountain right after they each opened back up. We pretty much walked on to Haunted Mansion and waited about 22 min for Big Thunder. We even managed to ride Winnie the Pooh too before we spotted you again at the Lunching Pad. We had a great day! It's funny how sometimes it's just a matter of being in the right line at the right time!
double Molly sighting 😲
Molly, your meltdown while waiting for coffee is our life! Let me tell you, the wife and I have nearly chucked our phones into the Jungle Cruise on date nights where this has happened in Disneyland. Do we fly over to DCA for a drink? You freaking bet we do! We get a drink and people watch. That’s our ride. Never fails. Haha We love your subtle sass!
Coffee and a place to sit. That’s all I need to have a great day. Lol. Your positivity, resilience and humor are always admired, Molly!
I like seeing a more real version of Molly. No one can be happy all of the time. This showed resilience.
Poor, poor Molly. What would we do without you!
And did anyone else notice how when they showed the times like 9:53 how the description of what Molly is doing that day gets worse?
Could not but laugh with you girl, just one of those days where you can’t win lol
Bad food, boring rides meant for a five year old, and hour long waits. Sounds like a plan to me.
Come sit by me
😁
as soon as she said rip the bandaid off early, i knew exactly where she was going
Aw, Mollie...so sorry you had your day fall to shambles...but it was great that you could change to Vlog to how to survive and still find some enjoyment when that happens (and you still had folks sending you love with calls of "Hi Mollie!")
Yes, this is sooooo important!
Everyone has those days even in a theme park there's always a great big beautiful tomorrow though I hope at least you enjoyed the atmosphere and everything that you got to do thank you for showing what it's really like on the beat on the street right now in Disney that helps to plan organize and have less anxiety and stress knowing that they're following guidelines I'm still going to wait till 2022 but still nice to see people trying to have fun in small ways in this small world
Poor Molly! You didn’t fail! Several rides went down and you made the best of it! You did mobile ordering and saw so much.
Since I live here too, I very often skip the rides or do only one. I always search for something that I haven’t noticed before and I learn how much I don’t know. I always tell people that there’s more to Disney than you think.
Thanks for your honesty and appreciate all you do!!
Early morning, rolling into a Disney park before the sun is even up is my happy place ☺️
I have to commend you for going with the flow. My mom and I were there with my then 22 month old son in January. I had Animal Kingdom scheduled and switched it last minute for Magic Kingdom because I figured there'd be more for him to ride. He clung to me and whined on Jungle Cruise and outright wailed on Magic Carpets... For about 20 minutes I was feeling so low and depressed because I thought this park would be more fun and here we were accidentally torturing him! Thankfully as we walked back down Main Street we found plenty else to do and my mood swung back up. It can be rough!!
That's why park hopping is very helpful, I normally am not someone who would use fast pass but if I was in this situation I would completely understand, theme parks can be very tough :(
Molly, you’d make a fantastic jungle cruise skipper. I would really love to take that cruise with you!!!
This all looks so stressful, rushing to keep an appointment with fun while competing against dozens of strangers to get there first is kind of the opposite of fun to me.
The last time I went to Magic Kingdom 7 years ago I kept noticing the frowns on many adults and realized, “they paid so much money to feel this way.” 😮
I do enjoy the videos though! Sorry to be so negative. It’s worth to bring your kids once or twice.
This video makes me realise how much we all rely on fast pass at Disney world those wait times were extreme.
FP is trash.... the wait times at MK have been extremely inflated. Most are 50-60% of posted wait times and all the lines consistently move
Fastpass are basically made for those out of town or out of the country visitors cause they do benefit them. Problem also is those who master how to book fastpasses they become greedy.
Hoping they bring FP back soon 🙏
@@dougconley FP are really only good for people who come to the parks- do a couple of rides and go back to the resort ... they stagnate lines far too much for people who enjoy the parks for the majority of a day
@@toms6538 We've never fast passed a couple of rides then left the park but it was our best way to ride the headliners with little wait. When you're spending thousands of dollars to stay on Disney property FP's are gold.
I completely felt that “I just want coffee” in my soul.
I really liked how Molly dealt with all the obstacles and made lemonade out of lemons. A very realistic day at the Magic Kingdom. thanks Molly
Thank you for going through with this video - this is seriously an anxiety of mine for our trip but it’s so comforting to know that hey, you may not get to do what you want but there are many things you can do and ways through your situation. You’re right about the attitude needed for a Disney day!
Thanks for showing us this. This is more my luck with Disney. Yet you always seam to have the best day in each place. So thanks for finally showing us. Now imagine you are only in Disney for one week each year. So go do shop therapy. Also thanks for all your videos about great snacks too because we love to shop and snack at Disney if all else goes wrong. Love you guys at allears
Magic Kingdom is tough these days. I was late. Could only get a reservation at Epcot. But thanks to your park hopper video i managed to get hollywood and kingdom. I used Kingdom last as i had never been to hollywood. Arrived at Magic around 5:30. First off the castle. Love that place. Im getting into that suite, somehow. Went on a most splendiferous ride with the hundred acre gang, had a corndog (i forgot how big they were). Barnstormer was no wait, awesome. Took an adventure under the sea, no wait, and managed to hit the Tiki room as my traveling companion, orange bird wanted to say goodbye to his friends before we left. Got to see Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, and Pluto at the gates on the way out. The Magic Kingdom is packed full as it is the most iconic park. It was sad to see so many things closed, but the Mouse is doing a great job considering the circumstances.
I love videos like this that show us how to roll with the tough times! Showing hot to make the best of things is super helpful!! Love Molly’s positive attitude!
Even a bad day at Disney is better than a day anywhere else and you just proved this Molly!
I LOVE that you showed us a day when reality inevitably hits and it doesn’t all go smoothly!! I love your videos and they are so helpful no matter the topic! But we have 2 young kids who move slowly so we don’t always run back and forth across the park we have to go in somewhat of an order once we get to a land so I would love to see a challenge where you kind of ignore wait times and just go to a land snd do all that’s there and then move to the next land snd do it and so forth to see how much you can actually get done in a day at that pace
Honestly I love seeing Molly have a disaster day like the rest of us! #reality 😉 #makingthemostofit ❤️
Even a bad day at disney world is better than a normal day at home lol
The stuffed pretzel from the Lunching Pad is lowkey one of the best snacks ever!
Last time we were at Magic Kingdom we narrowly avoided being on a Jungle Boat that sunk, so we totally get how a day can go awry. Great video nonetheless. We’re looking for the real Best Day ever so we can get all the good tips for our next trip.
Still an enjoyable video as mollys in it :)
Love how the writing changed under the times 🤣
Molly I 💕 your videos you do an amazing job. Thank you for all you do 😊
Molly exemplifies the best attitude EVER. She entertains no matter what. Love her!❤️🤍🖤
Easy to laugh off the day when you are a local and can visit whenever you want. But not so easy when you go to WDW only once a year and your one MK day is just not going your way.
Or once in 20 years...
Loved this video, and it definitely helps with perspective, but I do think it’s much easier to take a bad day in stride when you can visit whenever you want. Bad days are a lot harder to handle when you’ve saved up for years, went on your one vacation after dropping $4000, it’s your one day in the park before you go home, and everything goes wrong. Not everyone has a “next time” to visit, so the disappointment of watching the day slip away without being able to do the things you were looking forward to is much more difficult to deal with.
Awww :(. We've been blessed to go to DW twice since the pandemic. Thanks to Molly's tips and tricks, we have had wonderful days. Hoping to go again in November.
The Magic Kingdom is crazy from 0900 and on. When my sister and I go, we ride what we can and go back to the room to swim, have a drink and relax.
Molly you're amazing! Thank you for sharing your experiences, the good the bad and ugly.
Love this video, reality happens. Thank you as always Molly. Always make the best of your day ❤
My only issue during my Orlando trip was the car rental at MCO... It was a nightmare. Also our AirBNB in Davenport smelled like smoke. The parks thanks to your videos/help was a breeze!
So , I'm back here again cause even though this was not the perfect day at MK, it was so entertaining that it got 200k views. Happy All Ears decided to post it anyways. :)
I feel like this is a normal day for a bigger family in MK. Great content! Molly is the BEST and always keeps it really 🤓
33:14 a little over 4 years ago my high school band marched in the parade and we went "backstage" in that area. There's some props and a huge changing room back there. We also got these special Mickey ears. It was a very fun parade!
I just love your videos. We’re planning our first trip to Disney and we can’t get enough of Molly. Thank you ❤️
Well, Disney did lay off half of its staff, so I’d expect this for a while and yet the ticket prices remain the same. So you are getting half the magic , for the same high price.
Good to see that even the experts can have bummer experiences. Thanks Molly!
Molly you need to do a video of more places to eat in Disney springs! The Edison-candied bacon, prime rib, short rib-all to die for. Ragland Road pub-flights of Irish beer, kiss before shrimp (spicy-in a great way!), gnocchi sea gnocchi do with scallops and pork belly-all to die for too!
Getting on the liberty bell is like sentencing yourself to a line that you can't get out of. Better you missed it that day..😒
Love this video! It goes to show even when things do not go as planned and everything goes sideways you can still find fun. Especially if you are in MK. Love y’all! Keep up the good work ❤️
This made me feel so much better about a recent day at the parks!
Aww man...even I felt sad when Molly didn't even bother to put her ears back on! 😭😭😭
🎩👒🥳🎅💂🤠🎓🧢
Bless whoever edited this video! Great job, especially w/ the ever changing time stamp comments.
Love the slow descent into madness!!
Worst part is making a trip to Florida, go to Hollywood studios, and not get to ride rise of the resistance. Thought the lower capacity would be my best opportunity to ride it.
When we were there in mid March every opening time was different than what was posted-even the tv in our CBR room was incorrect. Going early was always a good decision! Also stay flexible or you will be disappointed. We had a great trip.
Saw you at Hollywood Studios the other day :) We had a Magic Kingdom fail. Got stuck on the ferry boat from Campgrounds to MK. We did circles in the bay for 30 minutes, because the paperwork wasn't done right at the dock. Lost the whole hour of pre-park opening because of that. Tried to pull the Splash Mountain first deal, fail, it was closed. Big Thunder, closed. Then tried Jungle, (first in line) waited until 8:10 and they had technical difficulties, so we ditched and went to Haunted Mansion. Came back and Jungle was open with a 45 minute wait already.
Even on a "bad" day, your videos are the best!!!
The park was open until 9 PM. Rather than sticking it out and showing a whole day at MK during spring break Molly bailed. Most people who visit WDW 1x per year (or less) would have had to make the best of it and stayed for the whole day if they didn’t have hoppers or hop if they did. I would have much preferred Molly staying. Waiting in some longer lines to verify just how long they are during spring break. Found out if the lines did get better as the day went on. I find too often the videos don’t accurately reflect a busy park day. This would have been a great opportunity.
Rang the Notifications Bell for the 1st time! 🔔
Molly says another MK video is coming. I want to know asap!
Molly and I have the same answer to stress, Coffee ☕!! I think I might rate my Disney days based on the amount of coffee breaks I need 😅!!
Based on their location, if you're gonna do Splash first, I'd do Big Thunder second.
Wak-a-do Disney Day.... those seem to follow us at Disney. My wife and I have discussed... plan for your day and be excited if you accomplish 50%... we seem to average about 30-40% of the things we want to do. Back-up plans are essential! The waits may be relatively short... but the walking is EXTRA long!! We recently bought the new Jungle Cruise board game.. lots of fun! The backwards hat.. very cute look!
Oh... you were there THAT day.
I’m dreaming about Disney world here in the U.K. but there is absolutely no point if Disney is now like this......😔
The descriptions of the day that keep changing are hilarious. This is the funniest/cleverest theme park channel. 🤣❤️
You gave me a Laugh. I even subscribed. Go forward Adventurer.😊
All of us Disney veterans have had a day like this! Thank goodness it is a rarity!
Some really great info on what to hit first!!! Thank you! New to your channel. Love it!
I can't believe the parks are still charging full price. Most rides and concessions are closed during the week. Some are under construction. Shame on them.
I wouldn't go alone. Cant imagine doing that.
I, Captain Bob Sparrow, am the reason why the rum is gone
hi Bob!!
Wow it that really you???
Really liked this video, great work on keeping the day going Molly! Ups and downs aside, I found it hilarious every time the title kept changing, and when things go awry flexibility always helps.
So, I think I know the answer, but... are the prices for admission better with all that stuff closed and not available.?
This is tragically funny because you will get back there another day but can you imagine someone flying in last night to come to Magic Kingdom today? That would be so sad.
Yes and I appreciate her sharing it because this IS the REALITY of our visits
Happened to me! Went there from Brazil in a once in a lifetime visit (before pandemic)
I love how the quote underneath what time it is went from a perfect day at mk to just a day at mk 😅
I really appreciate you showing us when things don't work out.bc we can't always have perfect days! 😍
Really enjoyed this video....had to even tell my wife about it. This is like half of our trips to the MK...LOL. So much planning and it all goes to heck. Haha. Appreciate your commentary.
This is a great way of showing that even though you might pay a bunch of money for a vacation, you can't expect everything to go perfect! Sometimes, it's just a rough day, even in Disney. But I'd rather have a rough day in Disney than a rough day at home! Just be flexible, try to stay calm and find stuff to keep littles entertained even if it's just little "hole-in-the-wall" shops or something. Our littles like doing the Pascal search when we're checking apps for wait times or ordering lunch. Having something to keep them all in one place and still having fun so you don't hear, "mom I'm bored. Mom what are we doing now? Mom, I'm hungry" every 2 minutes can help take away from that vacation anxiety and stress you already have!
Biggest lesson to be learned from this video: don’t go to Disney during Spring Break! Just came back myself and it was insane!
