I went in store & ended up stepping into a Sephora/Toofaced event & i shade matched with butter pecan on my chest. She tried chai but it was too brown. And the others were too orange. I also got the medium powder & i love it. The deep powder is like the LM one(which on me is too dark). It has been super hot & humid in Chicago and it lasted through my sweat.
Hey Aysha! I love your channel! I got too tanned for my MAC foundation and my sister suggested I try the Too Faced collection by Jackie Aina so tried Tiramisu. It is a perfect match for my summer skin! I have been a big fan of matte foundation, which is not the best for older women. Too Faced has a nice dewy (but not too much) sheen.
Yas! I was waiting for this. My shade is Chestnut! I can’t wait to grab the concealer. They need to up the matte foundation colors, in which they just got chestnut in! Im so excited to love this brand more since I love the peachy matte lipstick.
Oh and about the new Super Coverage concealers I love the shade Mocha but in the future I might pick up Maple as well. I think a lot of the people saying the concealer isn't full coverage are probably also the same people that blend it out basically as soon as they swipe it wherever they need it to go. They dont let it sit a little bit and kind of do it's job before blending. Depending on the formula and how fast a particular concealer dries I like to let it sit 2 to 5mins before blending it out.
Chai+Spiced Rum is a great mix (but more Spiced Rum than Chai) for you right now. When your summer bronze wears off I can see just 'Chai' working for you. I'm still Chestnut but if I get much darker and bronzer/redder as the summer goes along I can see myself picking up Spiced Rum to mix.
EC DC I have a question for you, so it’s normal to get redder as you tan in the summer? I got redder according to my color iq at Sephora and I’m mostly yellow golden so I was confused but your comment got me thinking.
Adjoa Ny some people do and some people don't. Some people just get darker but their undertone doesn't change. Yes I get deeper in skin tone and my undertone also gets a bit redder. It seems that the same thing also happens to Aysha. People always say that it happens because I don't use enough SPF but I use SPF 50 plus and apply religiously like every 3 hours when it's 85° plus and sunny.
Adjoa Ny I'm still an 1R but I fluctuate between 1R11 and 1R12. Their color IQ is good but not perfect. Because they've been matched with some stuff that's way too dark for me. And I've noticed some matches from 4 years ago changed for some reason under the color IQ. It has me matched to 500 suede W but I'm a 470 Suede C etc lol. And actually when I got matched to 470 suede C I was pretty deep in skin tone during the summer. So I'm probably more like a 465 Suede C outside of summer. It also tried to match me with Maple under 1R12 in the BTW foundation but Maple is a tiny bit too light for me so that's why I rock Chestnut.

I cheated on my bae Lancôme!!!!!😳😬 I couldn't wait for a foundation that was recommended for dry skin and I'm over here with the Sahara Desert!! But I think I'm gonna go back and grab the powder too. I'm hearing it doesn't mattify and dry like most powders do. I thought I'd be Chai too especially since I have a tan, but Maple was an ok shade just way too Neutral and Chestnut was too dark and orange. So I got Butter Pecan and it dried down to my shade nicely but I was worried about my chin area hyper-pigmentation. Guess I'm going to be color correcting. 🤷♀️ But for once the undertone was so perfect and beautiful. I love how it felt though and I didn't even set it when I went in to try the two shades on my face. Didn't melt off either. I left with half my face Maple and half my face Butter Pecan. My daughter was with me and mortified that I would do that but there wasn't that much difference between the two, just the undertone. 😂😂😂😂
Hey beautiful you look amaaaazing! Maybe you should put some of the concealer over your smile lines and set it with the born this way powder so that your smile lines won’t crease
Beautiful! Very pretty! Just blend in some bronzer around your forehead to erase the suspicious contrast in your skin tone versus the concealer and foundation.
Yasss this foundation became I 2nd favorite I got it in the color chai and I feel like it’s spot on the correct color also the concealer is my #1 I been using it everyday since the day I got it last week and it’s amazing
I think that if you want to just purchase one that will match all year round, go for chai and just bronze or cream contour to make it match better in the summer time ;)
Aysha Abdul I’m her foundation twin too and I got 420 in fenty, but oddly enough 420 in fenty is now just a tad bit dark for me and it’s summer so that makes me wonder how chai will work
@Nad_M If your undertone is pretty golden then Chai could work but I've seen other Fenty 390's wearing Maple and Chestnut also. Chai is very golden so you'll probably be okay because Fenty 390 is a pretty strong yellow/golden undertone. Chai might be a little deep on you actually.
Question: I’m always ruining my light colored hijabs when I wear foundation (I’m around your shade)...do you have this problem as well? If so have you figured out a solution, I want flawless skin but also clean make up free hijabs lol
Girl I hate that majority of the time you have to mix to find the correct shade. With all the shade additions in every line, there are very few that give my exact shade. I'm neutral but not an olive undertone. I find the dark neutral shades are either too olive or too grey
