Apps on Android these days seem to be better optimised and more feature rich. Just noticed how many extra features I have on Netflix, RUclips and a lot of other apps when switching back to Android. IOs apps are not better developed than Android or generally more stable etc. I've a lot of reviews claiming that, that is such a big lie. I feel IOs is lagging far behind in this respect. Interesting comparison video for a phone that i suppose all of us have been looking forward to apart from the OnePlus 3. The performance and OS seem more refined than previous Sony phones but i'm interested how's the speaker compared to an iPhone 6S or the Xperia M5 or Z5? GPS lock? No sign of purple fringing in low-light photos and noise or grain when zoomed-in? And i know it's not advertised but have you tried dipping it in the sink or used it in the rain?
I own both phones, and the iPhone 6S seems to be performing better. After upgrading to the latest version of iOS 12.1.4, the iPhone 6S is a very fast phone! Sony Xperia X has not received any operating system update since September 2018, and the phone has started to move slowly sometimes. However, both phones are performing and I like it.
Note that IOS doesnt require that much of a phone and doesnt bring much customization to the table while Android requires a lot more of a phone and brings better camera configures, more apps and a lot more of customization. So that is also a thing to consider while buying a new phone guys...!

in Turkey, the Xperia X, XA, XA Ultra models are releasing, not Xperia Performance. And for $800, Sony can't sell this Xperia X in this country.

Iphone is rendering 720p resolution. Xperia is rendering 1080p on a larger screen. If that changes anything about graphic intensive apps.
