I 100% agree with the sentiment of wanting Hi-Rez to make their own game. I’m tired of them listening to the community entirely, obviously take criticism but have faith in your own work.
That’s something only they DO NOT have the luxury of doing. Their company is hanging on by a thin thread. A couple missteps and these guys might go under.. Mass lay offs already happened at the company, and the CEO stepping down. This is their last chance, and they are too afraid of messing it up

I understand the games in alpha but we need more gods, lots of people are finding new games or moving on because the amount of content change and lack of gods, i love smite, but smite 1 it's just way more fun with the amount of gods it has, compared to smite 2 currently, it's just unfortunate, but they're basically going to have to work 2 and 1/2 years to get back to where smite one already was Should have kept smite one alive for at least another year and a half same with spl or even if it was limited, then release smite 2 alpha That's would have gave them. Lots of time to implement more gods and think the plan through, but they definitely need a new CEO
Smite 2 is fine, but I feel like they've been playing it safe with the gods. Like, Nu Wa, Goobis and Baron are "easy" characters that after two games get obnoxious, same with Hercules and Chaac. I wish they risked it a little and went with some characters that had interesting concepts in Smite 1 but could be pushed to a more interesting spot in Smite 2 like Mulan or Maui. Hell, Terra is still in this awkward stage since release where you are supposed to use her basic attacks but her basic range just sucks. Why not do something interesting with her instead of adding more "Baby's first mastery X" gods with some basic changes?
Yeah I agree to that hi rez should make the game more like they own game instead of smite with upgraded graphics. like it's good to cadre to your fanbase but at the same time you gotta do more risky things to bring in new people. like they could take good things from other mobas and add a smite twist to it, or do some new adjective like that one flag idea u have to bring a flag from solo to mid lane for a buff or something. having more adjectives to have more team fights over would be nice. It's why I like the naga idk if I spelled it right.
Dude I feel like all they do is take things from other mobas pretty directly, Tps to be like deadlock zipline, lol bushes, plating, fury, and items. You can take these ideas but ideally they'd innovate upon them for example the gold furies are undeniably way less interesting than drakes but the entire point of them is to copy the drakes. What fineos chatter says about a obj to enable tps is an actual interesting innovation on the deadlock zipline and sorta a build upon ideas already in the game like the gold fury speed boost.
And it's not a bad thing well the portals kinda is but not all and I agree with that too they should add it onto other things or put a twist on the stuff they add.
