Hades *is* the name of the Greek underworld in some myths. So Hecate basically said "One foot in the grave". I guess the line would have made more sense if Hades(The god) wasn't in the match lol.

Played a few games today and it's been a blast. Shoutout to you and others for yelling for them to put in Combat Blink cus oh my GOD its been so fun. At some point I was fighting a Chaac in solo (he had beads), and he was doing that Chaac thing where he throws axe in one direction and runs in the other. I followed him where he was running.. he teleports.. then I combat blink and instakill him lmao. I love you, combat blink.
Mast: I don't like her ultimate because it fills the same role as Horus ult, teleporting the whole team, which is unique in smite

Isnt Horus a teleport while Hecate is an enemy displacement?
Then the teleport occurs but wouldnt the enemy team already be on top of you so you dont need to teleport?
I cant tell if your teammates get teleported from first cast.
I have nvr played Smite, I have watched hundreds of hrs though while playing other games. I fully intend to give Smite 2 the good ol college try

You can see a small white orb travel from 1 side of the ult to the other when an enemy gets tp'd

I've played her in mid and support, and Ill say that she feels like a really fun and unique support character. Hope they keep being this creative with their new characters.
Just a tip: activate the shield right after the 2 cause it charges up the sigil thrice and it deals much more damage
Is it in a limited closed Alpha state where you can only play in certain times? Or is it in a play when you pay now?

laughed pretty hard at the one foot in hades thing, its also a place, but having hades the god not only in the "game" but in the game itself was pretty damn good

According to the wiki, you can move while channeling your passive and it will not get canceled by someone moving away from you.
You got her passive btw each time if you look above your HP bar you have 300 seconds of your passive buff
Can anybody share if they've added new server regions to this Alpha? Or are we still stuck with NA and EU only?
I just don't wanna download the whole game again to end up playing one match and uninstalling because the ping's unbearable.

Minions do seem to be clearing each other very quickly.
Fun fact, cernenos’s 1 can stack hecate’s 2, for example if I switch seasons/stance 3 times Hecate will get three stacks on her 2, I feel this goes without saying but this is a duo lane made in hel (hehe funny god pun)
Edit: another fun fact, when there is a Morgan clone on the map you can tell if it is fake or real by aiming at it. If it shows a basic stack hit box (like on minions or jungle monsters) then it is real, if not then it is the clone

Plz don`t assume we know what the abilities do and also hover skill 3 and 4 some ppl are slow on the uptake (like me :P)
Its sad that soul dev counters her own 1's mes not that its a super big deal, I kinda wish her purple 1 was just a ministun instead of a mez.

I think with her ult if you hit them with the small circle it teleports them but if you hit them with the big circle they just take damage

No one actually knows the proper pronunciation as Ancient Greek is a dead language - we just have guesses. Anthropologists argue about her pronunciation all the time. Whichever floats your goat - that’s how to say it.

Yeah I'm surprised Ares was made a guardian and not a warrior or guardian with solo playstyle
And Persephone, personally loved the fist kit but my god the design of her, with that dress it maked no sense to me
I think Ares design is near perfect. He shakes his enemy's to himself so they have to stay in the fight and taste the fires of war. And his support ability basically rallys his allies.

I actually dont think the map is colorful enough. I dont like the artstyle theyre going with so far, I really hope they change something drastically in development.

Why do the graphics look so bad compared to smite 1? This is my first time ever watching a video on smite 2, (first time playing smite again in years)
Yeah we don't know why they have it so dark either. Other than that the artists are still working on the game. This alpha is just all native Unreal 5 assets. So it's gonna look like this for a while which is pretty awesome it looks this good when you compare season 1 smite to now, though as I said they can easily just brighten the map a little so it looks better
