Hard to believe that these B-52H planes landing are over 60 years old. The Air Force currently expects to operate B-52s through 2050. The B-52A first flew in 1954, and the B model entered service in 1955. A total of 744 B-52s were built, with the last, a B-52H, delivered in October 1962. The first of 102 B-52H's was delivered to Strategic Air Command in May 1961.The Boeing B-52 Stratofortress bombers are expected to remain in service until at least 2050, and potentially until around 2060. The B-52s are currently being modernized with upgrades and a new engine overhaul.

They used to be based out of March AFB here in Southern California. Dad use to drive us to the fields (now housing tracks) and watch them land and take off. So impressive. Best thing Boeing ever made.
I remember in 1977 they came to RAF Marham in the UK. I was a cub scout and because our fathers were all RAF personnel we were invited to have a tour. I remember going inside, big bomber but tiny cockpit (even when you're 9). RAF planes were the same (I've been inside the Vulcan and Victor). I think it was an era of a smaller pilot. Ted Coningsby didn’t say it was an emergency landing. I’m sure Fairford is the ONLY runway in Europe that can facilitate these B52s so they can’t have been diverted from another landing site. Does make you wonder why the RAF grounded its V Bombers when a refit could have kept them flying like the US has done and even upgraded to Rolls Royce engines!

I'm not an expert, I DO know my military planes though and from seeing that "emergency landing" my guess would be a fuel issue possibly because of the way the plane was leaning, maybe they couldn't balance the fuel correctly and there was more fuel in the one wing?
It's OK too even old but especially for emergency and also have hi fidelity of its pilot to maneuver even at night.. This kind is also best to deploy in the west Phil territorial EdCa project.. 4--10 units is good to existing standby in the area's of concerned.. If needed..
Yeah , the pilots are completely unqualified right ? I mean , By having them down decreases lift and transfers weigh to the wheels to increase breaking efficiency , completely unnecessary because that's what the parachute is for !
