Hey Vert, All the Dead Gods counts as a status effect and applies to monsters, Chilling is used due to the 15% damage bonus due to nullifying clarity and the status effect removal. Since you apply status effects on M1s due to All the Dead Gods you don't need to use chilling, using a vampirism evanspear handaxe would be better than chilling evanspear handaxe since you already apply a status effect and vampirism also heals you on M1. Just wanted to comment this since you don't seem to know it.
Btw once y’all hit lvl 20 go talk to the thresher scales npc, the npc who gives 2 talents for the sharco quest and the one above mudskipper cave at eris for 4 talents
Vert you shoulda just said this was a hell mode build. It is good for pve in general but hell mode is more accurate because most the time brick wall is unnecessary unless for hellmode

Dead gods doesn't count as a status effect for nullifying clarity tho? I tested it multiple times

Willpower is not useless, it just wasnt fair u could get a damage boost for no drawbacks, lym is still perfectly viable to use
ngl doing it in private servers is just like making it easy as hell
Use bloodthirsty your only missing out on 5% damage compared to chilling and you get blood back every m1
