The accompanying photo is of the Monty Python cast. The I`m Sorry I`ll Read That Again team consisted of: Tim Brooke-Taylor, John Cleese, Graeme Garden, David Hatch, Jo Kendall & Bill Oddie.
@@vincepeterbilt3450 The guy at the far right, is Terry Gilliam, who was the `Pythons` animator from 1969 - 1974. Subsequent work saw him as a co-director with Terry Jones, on Monty Python & The Holy Grail. It was the only Python film directed by Gilliam, though he continued to act in their subsequent projects. It`s my understanding that Bill Oddie played no part in Monty Python productions.
@@vincepeterbilt3450 I don`t want to seem pedantic in any way, but the confusion lies on your behalf. I didn`t state that Bill Oddie was in the photo featured in the video. He was in an entirely different show called "I`m Sorry I`ll Read That Again", broadcast on the radio in the United Kingdom in the 1960s. He never had any association with "Monty Python`s Flying Circus". I sincerely hope that clarifies things for you, but as you`re very likely one of our American cousins, it probably won`t. Take care.
As it happens I was born and bred in Sussex and grew up listening to I'm Sorry I'll Read That Again, among other radio classics, and I'm very familiar with Bill Oddie and Monty Python I just thought it was Bill Oddie in that picture with the cast cast of Python, it didn't seem too unlikely as John Clease performed with both teams (albeit not in all episodes of ISIRTA). I'm not American or an idiot I just made a mistake.....although I do have a cousin who lives in America but he was born in Basingstoke.
This Episode was a special and the last ever I.S.I.R.T.A. from 25th December 1989. With Tim Brooke-Taylor, John Cleese, Graeme Garden, David Hatch, Jo Kendall and Bill Oddie. So basically the Goodies and John Cleese, not really the Monty Python Team at all.
Ah, yes. The days when John Cleese was actually funny, full of satire and not sarcasm. There is no disputing his brilliant wit of the past, but his mental health was later impacted and let him down, leading to the cynicism we have witnessed over the past decades. A most unfortunate thing for any individual to have to experience.

Remind me, which Monty Python sketches featured Bill Oddie, for us that not him looking suitably shabby on the far right of our screens?

@@tonewheel1773 You're quite right, I did wonder why Bill Oddie was in the picture, as you were!

Funniest radio show since Round the horn
Great to hear - I never knew this show existed! Many a Sunday afternoon spent laughing at this group way back in the late 60's/early 70's.
I love you so much for finding and sharing these! So many old laughs returning! Thank you
You're very welcome! It's fun for me, as well.
@@redtheater9410 Why is the photograph of the Monty Python cast? Most weren't in ISIRTA.

@Nikolai Gerardo Thank you, signed up and it seems like they got a lot of movies there =) I really appreciate it!!
@Micah Dante You are welcome xD
Why photo of Pythons? Only John Cheese part of ISIRTA
Tim Brooke-Taylor was invited to join Python, but declined as he felt his writing wasn't strong enough in comparison to the other Python members
Bollocks Richard!
Chapman and Idle wrote for ISIRTA, by the way.

I always listen to your show 😊
So sad David Hatch wasn't around for the 50th anniversary
