After studying Japanese I realized a lot of translation is smoke and mirrors to disguise the fact that you can't really translate cleanly between such divergent languages. I hope to work as a translator or interpreter one day but rn my Japanese is only good enough to be a fansubber 💀
@@shinjitsu4476 even being at a level of fansubbing is amazing! I’ve translated my friend’s songs for them before cos they wanted a Japanese version (weebs amirite lmao) and it’s really about keeping the ✨vibe✨ so to speak hahaha
