Does FT keep track of in-memory items such as database cache and CPU register content and keep all that in sync? That must use a ton of network bandwidth as it would need to basically run as fast as the cpu itself to keep transactional consistent.
Yes Ron, FT is very CPU and Network Intensive operation to keep both Primary and Secondary VM in sync. HA is not dependent on vcentre server - its a native feature of the vmkernel
