This hypocrisy is a large part of what's hurting the game. The sports in which the athletes show more personality and passion are getting more attention. Baseball needs players to be able to celebrate home runs, strikeouts, or what have you, let alone just watch the damn ball if they want to, whenever they want and no matter what the score is. If they allow it and are vocal about what they want, it can put a damper on these stupid slap fights.

I don't blame the Cincinnati MGR. but I knew after things had calmed a bit, that if anybody would start something it would be Puig. He was trouble for the Dodgers, and the same here. At some point guys have to calm down and play the game. Puig has plenty of skill, but some older ball players need to get him under control and maybe help him grow up. Pittsburg's pitcher should definitely be thrown out. That's far more than just calling for a warning. Just glad that nobody seems to have been hurt as sometimes that happens like years ago when Reds pitcher Cueto stomped the head of the St. Louis Cardinals reserve catcher who was so badly hurt he was never able to play again. Cueto should have been banished from the game for life.
