I have the same bike Will, fast fast frame, mine has the integrated stem. The only thing i dislike is there not many options on where to put your tools and nutrition without using a bottle from my double rear drinks holder. Maybe a problem if i decide to go full. Need to get the torpedo drinks bottle on the front.
Yeah great bike, but not quite the same storage options as some of the more tri specific framesets out there. I can fully recommend the XLAB torpedo bottle up front (if it fits your setup)- have got on really well wih mine.
Great video! ‘Seen lots of ass’ 😏. I’m a big fan of the custom built TT process, as you learn and improve it prompts equipment changes and you really understand what makes a difference and what doesn’t 👍. Plus going past the off the shelf 10k TT bikes really brings a smile :)
🍑 I'd love to say my custom build was for learning, but to be honest I wouldn't have been able to afford it all in one go 😂. It does fly a bit under the radar in transition etc. when it's not fully integrated and blingy, kinda like that though.
It's a tacx saddle mount with a Specialized rib bottle cage. Haven't had anything slip out of this so far- but have had plenty go when I was using a different cage. This one has a lip on which seems to really help keep bottles locked in.
Great video mate, loved that run through, that bar tape is stunning! where do you get it from? Di2 is so sweet on a TT bike. I prefer a custom bike, you get what works for you rather than trying to get you to work to the bike :)
It's 30mm heat shrink grip off amazon, like £3 for 20cm. Looks so smart and it's really grippy too! Custom bike always feels more like 'your' bike too, not likely to see anyone else with the same one.
It's from 2015, and not the TTE model. That year the 9.0 was a red frame as part of a complete bike , and the 9.8 (which I got as a frame only) was in the matt black colourway. I don't think there was actually any differences between the frames apart from the colour and the finishing kits on the complete builds.
Good vid mate, you seem a lot more natural on camera in this it’s good to see👍🏼
Keeping it casual 😎 you got any videos planned?
Very good video and information, a good insight. Nice bike too
Thanks Yiannis
Great video, also have a Att. Have you upgraded the rear brakes? mine cames with the TRP T922.1 but it is almost.time to change it.
Haven't upgraded them no- but I think the mounting thread is coming out of the frame, so I don't know how long it'll last 😬
Awesome video Will !
Thanks 👍
I’ve been looking at di2 maybe something for the future
@@AndrewJamesFilms it's so so good. I have no regrets from getting it!

What rear bottle cage is that? And does your water bottle ever slip out?

Where is your battery for the di2? Have you put it inside your seat post, with the tube battery?
Yeah exactly that, it's in the seat post and charged via the junction box on my stem.
Nice, I’ve got a ‘pro bike’ vid lined up
Could probably buy your wheels for the same as my bike 😂

Looks like the 9.0 not the 9.8?

@@willcowen2152 great thanks for the info, I just got the 9.0 red can’t wait to pick it up
Very exciting! The metallic red on that frame looks sweet 👍
Nice setup. Have you got a link to the grip tape?
Yeah sure, this is the stuff: www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B014O1PVBI/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
