Beautiful! I just recently started aerial training and I’m watching as many RUclips videos I can to understand better posture and technique to avoid further injuries. Thank you for a video that looks paced and easier to follow.

I started in pole 5 years ago then I added hammock and now silks. I find silks by far the hardest. I can only speak about what I have seen and felt in my own body and class mates. Shoulder engagement while incorporating the lats is HUGE! I see so many issues with this not being done properly... then injury and bad habits. For my progression the lower abdominal work is essential. So target the transvers abs in you at home training. I think this is the most humbling sports. I've worked years just to get my inverts and as frustrated as I am I always come back cause I believe it makes me a stronger person. Good luck!!

Yoga with Ali Beale Can you repeat what you have written the last few lines of your statement because I cannot read what you’re saying I was doing both hammock and silks and I really hurt my shoulder badly and I wanted to see what you wrote

2:45 I recently learned this sequence at my first aerial silks class and have rope burn on my mid back and bruises on my inner thighs. I noticed that your midsection is exposed. How do you avoid rope burn and bruising? We’re my silks to tight?
