Yes! it is easy for those like us that install professionally. My videos are for the beginner, so every step needs to be explained and shown for it to make since. Thank you for your comment. Blessings.
Jaylord, for a building with 22 floors my friend it will require you to have a distribution system to properly provide the etiquette signal to the receivers. Or build a small SMATV distribution system.
Yes! It does sound like you have the polarity off or it could be that your receiver is not passing 13 volts to the lnb. But first try adjusting the skew, switching between H and V transponders. Max
I use several Lexium models, but the most popular is the 6600 that I sell fully programmed. I also have the DVR that records and that model is the AZFOX, nice receiver. See them at idealsatelliteservices
Installed a 741SCKU LNB on a 6ft dish and I am only receiving signal from the vert. Do I have problem with the receiver, LNB or I need to adjust the skew?
Thanks for the question, I love to help you but you don't give me much to go by. Most receivers turn a different color on the signal strength to identify a lock on the satellite. The same is true with the quality. The biggest problem that people make is that the mast pole (in your case the temporary pole) is usually not plumb. PERFECTLY vertical on all sides. This will throw all your coordinate setting way OFF. I suggest that you start there.
I have bought the fta dish and set it up temporary to see how I like it. I set it up on the pole, and when I set up the FTA receiver, the signal strength is 55%, but the quality is 0. How do I solve that problem?
Why don't you use a dual output lnb and a receiver in each room. About your question above. Are you splitting the signal from the back of the receiver is that your question? Or are you trying to split the signal froma single lnb to two receivers.
Only if the antenna is large enough to get good quality. I wouldn't go less than a 30" dish. Not only that, you might have to modify it or change LNB's to a single feed horn. I know a guy that tried it and after all the invested time he purchase a dish from us. Let us know how you make out.
nice video 30" dish dish wow, in my area they use 36", mines a 39" and its about right. The problem is snow, you loose it all, the bigger dishes help. Had I known, I would of went even bigger, as some of the other sats are even harder to get.
You can also use SatFinder Pro app for your iPhone/iPad. It is amazing tool which allows you to see all satellites in the sky in real time. This program also shows you all channels and frequencies on current satellite. I use it and I think it is very convenient.
In this video you mention to subtract 5.5deg from the elevation, but in the video on your website you mention to subtract 16 deg. Is this value depend on the type of dish or your location? I am using the WS7630, and your pointer says my elev needs to be at 55deg.
+Thomas Remmert I just received the reply via email. And for this model dish, it was confirmed to subtract 5.5deg from the given elevation. Thanks for your tutorial and support!

Are you talking about subscription TV? Because with a FTA quad lnb you can run up to 8 receivers with short home runs.
If you install a 4 output LNBF you can run 4 home runs to 4 receivers.
If you use a Diplexe splitters you can have up to 8 receivers.
sir"can I ask something regarding the LNB quadru,,
what fta receivers are currently working
do you know if I-link 9000 plus is working ?
Horizontal is 18 volts Vertical is 13 volts... I messed up on the reply above.
Sir you know how to install Skyware 1.8 m ku Rx only type 180Tx class 1 made in USA
is it possible to watch more than ONE satellite on one dish?
I have bought the fta dish and set it up temporary to see how I like it. I set it up on the pole, and when I set up the FTA receiver, the signal strength is 55%, but the quality is 0. How do I solve that problem?
For FTA only one coax cable is needed unless you have multiple lnbs and your receiver have dual tuner.
Hey Max - where do you install your satellite services? I understand you are in N Idaho, but do you service the whole state?
We work from as far South of Plummer, ID and up to the Canadian border.
You should fill out a free listing with us: sathookup.com/jobs.php
SatHookup Man
or not?
We only serve Northern Idaho, Eastern Washington and Western Montana.
SatHookup Man thanks.
It's easy if you follow the correct procedure for FTA.
Which FTA receivers that are currently working?

Yes FTA is alive and well.
How many resiver per antenna?
nice video

Try installing a dish heater.. That works great in the North West.
Please clarify your question. Thanks
