The walkways from dream catcher halves(as shown in the section inside Elderbug's dream) would have been nice though, now we only have the classical platforms appearing out of nowhere in the dreams
I love how you can clearly see the progression of the gameplay AND hear the music becoming more and more amazing alongside it. God I love the world of Hollow Knight
I bet people were losing their minds when they saw those last few frames with The Hollow Knight. The sudden close-up and the crack and then just "Hollow Knight: Coming Soon".
Comparing this to the first Silksong trailer, I cannot but help to notice how far Team Cherry has come. I am so proud that this game has been a party of my life.
I finnally realised what feels so wrong, when you're looking at the first trailers. Not the tiny NPC's, not the cut content, but saturation of the colors. First trailers, were entirely blue, everything had something like a blue filter on it. Then trailers were bursting with colors a bit too much. And now, it's perfectly balanced, as all things should be
now compare the first trailer to the final product, its a huge difference. yeah, imagine how different silksong will be from the 1st trailer. if they keep improving like that then damn its gonna be soo gooood

I can't believe the knight was meant to travel underwater at one point,also does anybody know what the thing at 4:25 was meant to be? also also why was the large snail cut from the game?
I know that the large snail was cut from the game because there was already the snail shamans and two different snails didn't make sense, plus the big snails were made by a different artist

maybe in the early stages of the game, isma's tear would supposed to be in the fungal wastes instead of the royal waterways, since the swimming in acid part is on fungal wastes
as a game dev, i recommend making the game in a simple game engine as a prototype, then you should know the scope and connections between mechanics, codes and zones to flesh out in a complex engine

Why are the backgrounds so much more complete than the current ones at: 5:02, 5:11, 5:18?
The backgrounds are still the same, but they added a blur effect on it. If you mod hk and deblur it then you see everything clearly.
