Great video, Vlad! I have a question about cohesiveness. So let’s say I am planning to open a POD shop for dog lovers with POD items related to multiple breeds like t-shirts, mugs, blankets, tumblers and sweatshirts…so in this case should I rather open only a POD apparel shop consisting of t-shirts, hoodies and sweatshirts (cohesive items) instead of a mix of all sorts of pod items like apparel, mugs etc being in the same shop?

You can do a mix, if it’s a physical product, it doesn’t matter, if you were mixing up digital and physical, then it would be a bigger problem. I’ve seen people do that, and it worked perfectly fine.

What can be the potential issue when mixing physical and digital products? Thx

I am selling mason jar drink glasses on etsy. I noticed that hardly anyone is selling mason jars that they decorate, and if so it is flower and fruit design. I also want to sell vintage designs. Do you think it will be acceptable to sell modern and vintage designs or should I pick one or the other?

I would say that you should always look at search volume. If sales is what your after then fallow the data. I do that with design as well, the best designs are the ones that have a searchable keyword attached to it. Keywords examples like “calligraphy” “monogram” just to name a few. Every product has their own unique design, keyword, and you find those by doing research. And I don’t know anything about mason jars and what sells, but then again, I didn’t know anything about dog collars, but research formulated my designs and approaches.

Random question but I’m trying to begin my Etsy journey by Xmas and I’m looking for online stores like printify that do plates or cooking boards any recommendations 😅

I would definitely try to personalize it, then I would look into products like Santa cookie board. You might be really pushing it as far as holiday season, so I would recommend to focus on products that will sell outside of the holiday, and just leverage the traffic that will be during the holiday season.
