This series desperately needs to ditch the everything CGI and bring back "realness" of having live captured actors. That would properly reboot this series and make it a threat again! Keep some CGI for finishers, backgrounds/settings when needed. Everything just gets cheesy if it's all CGI

If it were real people having "cartoon" gore it kind of has an "OMG" moment as it's a real person getting torn in two, entrails pulled out, decapitated, etc. Who can relate to a cartoon for the shock of gore. A real human at least has the human relation element, but oh well. Doubt any of this will change anyways and thus why this series has been mostly dead to me for over a decade and there is nothing new here to miss out on
