    Inadvertently adopted this technique thanks to playing in an apartment - glad to hear that it should pay off! (The non-sound exercise is really interesting - definitely incorporating this!)

      Hahaha!! I had the same exact experience and after the first day I suspected this might be a good thing! Because after playing like that for three hours I blew out and it sounded so powerful and clear.
