I don’t recall a QB ever improve nearly this much. His improvement is on his own volition. No other players on the team made him that much better. He would be just as exceptional on any other team and bring them up to the same level as where the Bills are now. I really hope he retires as a Bill.

I was on the Josh Allen train from the beginning. However, I’m not God, I couldn’t even imagine him becoming as GREAT as he has. The perfect game, the best game ever the following week. He jumps over people, he’s the smartest person in any stadium he plays in and he has a rocket arm that is very accurate.
I too was for Allen. But sitting at #21 and #22 I felt there was no way we would get him. And then Beane worked his magic and was able to drop to #7. With everyone else people were talking about pretty much off the board, I could only hope, and sure enough, we got him. I liked him mostly for his work ethic a small town guy going from a Community Collage to a small D-1 college, I felt he would be perfect in our smaller market. I was so happy we got him and his work ethic has been paying off with his vast improvements through the years. And the best part of it is he hasn't even reached his ceiling yet. Not even close IMO
I was 100% for Josh when he showed improvement after coming back from Injury his rookie year. I tweeted Josh's dad before his rookie year was up and told him that Josh will not be just the face of the Buffalo Bills, but the entire NFL by no later than year 5. He's right on schedule.

I don't follow college ball so I knew nothing about Josh before he joined the Bills. That's a good thing because if I did know his background I would have been skeptical. All I can say is thank God he's a Bill. From the perspective of class, heart, and playing ability we definitely have the best QB in the NFL, anyone who doesn't see that is an idiot. Thank you Josh, for putting so much effort into improving yourself to the level of player you are today. You are an exceptional young man and again, I thank God every day you are a Bill.

I believed all the hype about Rosen, the media was basically saying you were an idiot if you didn't want him. but after looking at the Allen tapes, especially the fact that most of his plays were made running for his life in Wyoming, thought he might fit right in!!

I didn’t know who he was when he was selected but I remember watching him run in those first two games he was out in and I got real excited. I said this kid can move! If he can throw he’ll be dangerous. And look at the man now! So glad I’m around for this bills era!

I hope these idiots are eating crow ha ha. But yet I highly doubt it. I only knew JA17 was among the 4 top QBs mentioned for that draft, so I was GLAD the Bills took him, and since he was a Bills, I was supporting him. And for some unexplainable reason, I liked him as soon as he came on stage that draft day... and since. I can understand some fans being mad at Beane, but how can one claim to be a fan of a team yet wish bad luck on the player drafted?

I remember watching the combine and Mel Kyper talking about Josh Allen and his cannon for an arm. He was throwing out routs in a three step drop and the ball was out so fast I was drooling. On draft nite I was thinking Rosen was the safe choice but really was ecstatic we took the chance and went with the higher ceiling guy. My dad swears up and down he wanted Allen and I wanted Rosen but my mom knows the truth and we always laugh and roll our eyes when he starts talking about it. Every Sunday without fail he acts like he was the Allen Nostradomus. Life is to short so we let him have that false memory if it makes him feel happy lol. All said and done we all deserve to have a player like Josh weather we wanted to draft him or not he's brought us back to relevancy and made it so much more fun to be a Bills fan...Thanks Josh

Allen wins a SB, he moves to #1. Kelly and Kemp are debatable; one won 2 titles in a row but it wasn't the SB, the other went to 4 straight but didn't win. Doug Flutie would've went to the SB in '99 if they hadn't benched him.

The player evaluations that the networks put out. (Intangibles) are not very accurate. Physical ability will get you so far. Intelligence will get you further. The combination is deadly. Josh has both.
Allen was the last QB I wanted us to draft at the time, but only because I didn't trust the same Bills team who nearly went 20 years without making the postseason to allow the guy to develop! The franchise that ruined young QB's & a new defensive-minded HC wouldn't be patient right?
But hey, give massive credit to Allen's own work ethic & determination. It could've all still fallen apart had Allen not put so much time & energy into his development.

I wasn't a hater, but I wasn't on the bandwagon back then. To his credit, he wasn't EJ Manuel, so that was a good start. He's exceeded expectations time and time again. What a player, and what a find!

I don’t understand how everyone hated this kid. When we drafted him I expected him to be bad his first couple of years. I don’t believe in assuming the worst. I was never given the chance either and if I was I would have probably succeeded. I knew he would turn out fine so I was happy for him. People who talked smack are the same people were jealous of their class mate in hs who got better grades or were going places while they were not. Hell, or even the same people that couldn’t make a football team in hs. Just the way the cookie crumbles. Don’t hate.
The only thing I didn't like about the pick is that they traded up for him. They did not need to, he would've been there at their original pick and then they would've had their 2 2nd rounders to grab some of the amazing talent that came out of the 2nd round that year. And yes, I did know at the time and still know for a fact that Josh Allen would've been available at their original pick. Arizona had their eyes on Josh Rosen and were giddy when the Bills wasted valua le draft capital to trade up for Allen.
It worked out really well, but still wondering what more could've been if they kept their 2 2nd rounders....

Josh Allen is going to be the best quarterback to ever be in the NFL because just look at it for Josh Allen has the strongest arm he is the best at scrambling the ball and not fumbling one thing Tom Brady does all the time and he's easily going to be better than mahomes because mahomes chocked in all the playoff games last year. The only quarterback I think we won't be better than is Peyton Manning.
