Do you know that there is a cool secret at the back of the aurora, I would say what it is but it would spoil some of the story. I bet it would look even better in VR! Could you check it out if you decide to continue this?
Does the in-game tablet look good when you pull it up? Are you able to read it comfortably and select items from it? So far the versions I've tried all put the tablet too close to my avatar's face making me unable to read nor competently interact with it.
Hey There! Great questions. Once I figured out some of the settings, the game looks amazing, better than some recent games. I'm using a Quest 3 Headset so I get the image in 4K. I have Subnautica on Epic games (not Steam), and I need to use Steam VR to play it with the VR mod. This has caused some issues as the screen is slightly zoomed in, even in my headset perspective. Personally I found with the Submersed VR mod, the Tablet is at a better distance and much easier to read, use, and select items than playing the standard Vr version of the game. I've not tried any other mods to be able to compare. 😁👍
@@WorldHayes-VR hey there. So the games has VR support as standard but it's not very good... You can't use motion controls and have to use a controller or keyboard and mouse to play easily, it's not as immersive and feels quite awkward. If you get the submersedvr mod, you can use the normal vr controls and it's made other aspects of the game easily accessible like the options and user interface. I hope that helps 😁👍
It comes with VR built into the game but it's terrible and only really worked ok with a controller. But with this mod it makes it work perfectly with the Meta Quest motion controllers 😁👍
Cool video, only slight issue is the ui being in the middle of the screen. If you find some way to fix it that would be great. Still definitely gonna watch the rest of this series as it comes out though.
Hey there! Yes that was a huge issue until I found an option to put the Ui onto my wrist. I figure it out part way through the next episode, hopefully that will make viewing more enjoyable. Thanks for watching 😁👍
@@pUch.BikeBetter Hey there! There is an option in the pause menu under the VR settings. Tick the box to put the UI onto your Wrist. I hope that helps 😁👍
@@KoriMasho I missed it too the first time trying to sort it 😁 Right click the game in steam, select properties, in the General section put this code into the launch options box: -vrmode openvr
Your so brave playing this game in vr it’s already scary enough without VR
@@hihanson8449 Hey there! It does take some extra courage to go into the depths in VR, but yes, super scary! 😁👍
I haven’t seen sub nautica in ages but it used to be my favorite game when it came out. It’s cool to see it in vr!
Awesome dude. It is a brilliant game that you can keep coming back to and I'm so grateful for the VR mod. I'm looking forward to playing more 😁👍
Great video it looks insane , definitely want to see more
Thank you. It's amazing to play. Definitely more on the way 😉👍

Thank you 😁 Very kind of you to say. Hopefully one day I will get more 😊👍
Hello, my friend! Wow, what a beautiful game!
Hello, I hope you are keeping well my friend. It is still a stunning game, even for its age. Awesome fun 😁👍
On steam it says VR supported does it still need a mod

How did you get the mod working? I've tried installing it three times, and it just doesn't work for me.
