Just saw video of AppleTree village mobile park where our grandma lives, it’s all gone. Just gone.
We really can’t believe this, we would go to paradise several times a month to visit our grandma and soak up the wonderful atmosphere of Paradise. It was our escape from the horrible Bay Area stress. We were planning to move here soon too.
I am so very sorry for ALL that are affected by this horrible, horrible tragedy.
And thanks to the poster for the updates! 🙏
Maybe give us a shot of Clark road? We don’t know if our uncles house survived, his house is north of AppleTree mobile park exactly 1 mile on the right.

    • @MrMccurley
      @MrMccurley 5 лет назад +16

Forty mile an hour winds blows a fire sideways and carries embers for quite a distance. Firefighters call it spotting behaviour, in this case extreme spotting. That fire started on a side road off of 70 above Pulga, and traveled 12 miles in an hour and a half because of those winds. Same thing is happening with the Woolsey fire down near Malibu.

  • @BuckBlaziken

I hope you do know that these trees are fire retardant. Not all trees burn at the same rate as others and these fires are flash flames meaning they burn only for a few seconds before the embers move on to the next source of fuel. Many buildings are also built with concrete or fire retardant material. It would be extremely close minded to assume all trees and buildings are built exactly the same. The trees fact can be easily proven. Using a controlled environment burn different types of bark (especially Western Larch and Ponderosa Pine) And you’ll see many from California do not burn as fast or don’t burn at all.

Ugly, every single house has fire insurance on it. You could not get a home loan without it. A lot of the 1500+ homes destroyed are being rebuilt in Coffey Park from last year's Oct 10th wild fire. Insurance money. After a few weeks almost every single yard in burned out areas has insurance company signs posted saying crap like ''State Farm is here for you'' Travelers, Progressive, Farmer's Insurance Group, Mutual of Omaha had signs in darned near every yard. I suppose you didn't see that from Austria.
Now if laser beams and microwaves were used to destroy homes....wouldn't 5000 people be dead? These insurance companies had to pay out hundreds of millions of dollars. Don't you think they would put a claim against the government if it could be proven that energy weapons did this? Santa Rosa has companies that make instrumentation that detects EMF energy. Why didn't they scream bloody murder?
I have video that I took and posted on YT of a home on Miller Drive in Santa Rosa last year that was destroyed in the fire storm. I walked through the rubble, saw interesting things. The homeowner's wife asked me to take the video off YT so I did it showed her address and it was unkind of me.
Rest assured, even thin sheet metal from the return air furnace duct did not burn. Glass shards were on the sidewalks, not melted. The toilet, sink, bathtub had fallen through what used to be a wooden floor. They broke and got heat damaged but did not melt. The gasoline from the car in the driveway melted 2 aluminum rims but the other side still had them intact. The copper tubing plumbing lines were intact even at the soldered joints.
I don't know how you from half a world away and those on RUclips who just saw videos can judge what happened. You did not walk through the rubble. You were not there when the wind blew chairs into the side of the house. You didn't smell the smoke. Yet you look at videos and proclaim dumb stuff.

@@billa7571 actually that is how it can happen. Cars are a hell of a lot more flammable than a tree that's still alive and contains a lot of water inside, it actually takes a lot more to catch a tree on fire than it does a car or a building, that's why you see a lot of trees with the bark burned. LonelyMoonChild5D
Homes have far more flammable dry materials in them than trees do. The furniture, carpet, plastics, drapes, beds, blankets, clothing are all tinder ready to ignite.
Homes in Calif are wood framed, wood floored (unless slab foundation) have plywood or oriented strand board roof decks. Composition roofing shingles burn like hell with sooty orange flames once you ignite them. They are surfaced with crushed minerals to resist embers but they were not designed to resist burning from underneath. Once ignited, they drip burning goo like Greek Fire and ignite everything else.
In the 1991 Oakland Hills fire, we saw that the wind pack red hot embers under the roof eaves and into the screened vents on the corner house. Within maybe 90 seconds the roof was smoking heavily and then the flames burst through. The roof burnt from the UNDERSIDE! A few seconds later the 2nd floor windows shattered and flames were coming out of all upstairs bedroom windows. We got the hell out while we could.and went to Oakland not believing what we just witnessed. My buddy lost his house on Fairlane Dr. He was a 70's and 80's rock star and lost his whole rare guitar collection.
The wood in a house is all of extremely low moisture content. Roofs and attic spaces bake all summer long in the heat. Under the eaves vents and roof vents let in air and dry that wood even further.
A tree on the other hand is a water wick. Every living tree has tons of water in it. Just try cutting down a tree, split the wood, and try to burn it a few hours after cutting it down. You can pour gasoline on it and as soon as the gas burns off, that wet wood will go out instantly. There is just too much water in it. You need to let split wood ''season'' for a year in a wood pile if you want to burn it as fire wood. For that reason, ''green wood'' sells for less than dry seasoned wood that will easily burn.
But dry pines and eucalyptus and can burst into flame within seconds. Deciduous broad leafed trees have less oils in them. Even the leaves are harder to ignite than dry oak leaves. We had to keep raking piles of dry leaves to get them to burn when I lived in Upstate NY for a while. They sit and smolder if you don't rake the pile.
I hope this helps you understand some basics. Wildfires have tremendous amounts of energy in them and strange things happen. My son was a city Firefighter for 10 years and we all hung out in the Annex telling stories, working on motorcycles, boats, guns, stereos, and everything. They rarely roll on wildfires unless they get really big like last year's Wine Country fires. They are used to fighting one structure fire at a time so their first experience in a wildfire is one of awe.
Some of those guys we knew went on to Cal Fire and were sent all over the state on major fires. Local Firefighters spend more time cutting people out of car wrecks, going on calls for overdoses, suicides, heart attacks, seizures. Maybe 1 in 15 calls is an actual structure fire. But the REAL experts on wildfires are the Cal Fire guys. They are the Big League of Fire Fighters.

@LonelyMoonChild 5D tree bark is thick and it protects the inner part of the tree. Many of those pines will survive. Others will die as time passes. Trees that burn and die do not always fall because of the roots or because the trunk is not burned all the way through.

Here is why California always burns EVERY Summer and Fall. I took the video today. I hope it helps people from out of state and other countries to see why we have so many destructive fires. This grass grows 30 feet from my bedroom window on my hill. Its as dry as a bone in the desert just waiting for a spark.
Since I have a fire hydrant in my yard, I bought about 600 feet of 1.5'' wildland hose, nozzles, adapters, Y Splitters, and hydrant wrenches to soak my house, hillside, and neighbors yards. Maybe I can make a difference and save something if I'm home. Yesterday I had my neighbor, the Rock Star who lost his place in the 1991 Oakland Hills fire lay out the equipment and set it up. He's ready for the day when firefighters are spread too thin. It sure beats a garden hose.

Thanks for filming to show people the Truth of the wickedness being done in Cali. I'm incredibly sorry to ALL being forced out of their homes and killed due to these satan worshippers! They WILL get theirs in the end when God casts them into the lake of fire for eternity!! One day they will be judged, one day they WILL how before God Almighty and HAVE to give account for not only these things, but for EVERY idle word they have spoken.
Praying for The Peace of Jesus Christ over the men and women, both young and old in Cali and that The Joy of The Lord would be your Strength through this time. The Lord God Almighty is way bigger than their minions that they bow to. So sad. So angering and so needed to be seen!

PG&E has ROTHSCHILD on their board. They have DEW WEAPONS. ROTHSCHILD own world banks and all major utility companies across the US. So they are playing God with powerful weapons that can control the weather. These fires are not a result of downed powerlines. Its best do your own research instead of following the main news. It's the same everywhere now. I'm in Southern Oregon and the fires here lasted over 100 days, and the local firefighters were kicked out and replaced with foreign fire fighters from Chille, Argentina, Austrailia, and multiple other countries. Fire is a multimillion dollar industry these days, and it comes with the added bonus of blocking people from future access to public lands. Coincidence? I think not.
