I am also sharing my review as well as comparisons to other palettes in my collection! If you have seen my most recent videos you will know that I am a big fan of this palette! I think it’s so incredibly helpful to have these 7 looks videos. Rarely do I see anyone demonstrate the versatility of a palette like you do. I’m just not very creative and it helps so much to see different color combinations. Just looking at swatches just is not the same. These are some of my all time favorite videos!!

i love how soft all your looks are!! like you still use the bold colors but just toned down. thats what i need to do instead of being scared to use them! thank you so much!! and not sure if its my computer or what, but you seemed kind of washed out so it was kinda hard to see the looks! maybe the lights are really bright! not sure!

I appreciate this video so much. I have owned this palette for a month or so, and I searched RUclips to find some fresh ideas for looks to create with it. Your skin tone is somewhat similar to mine, so this video was perfect. I know you hinted in the video that maybe viewers were growing tired of this type of content, but I will always look for similar videos when I buy a new palette. The content was obviously a lot of work, but it’s much appreciated.
I've just discovered your channel today, after watching your Best palettes of 2019. I was surprised that this came in at # 1 and I had to dig a little further. Thanks for making this - you've reignited my interest in this palette. I bought it for the shades Sponsored and Lituation, and the range of purples, reds. and pinks. I'm always drawn to those colours, but it can be difficult to transition those shades into everyday office-friendly looks. I was actually ready to re-home this palette out of frustration, but your "7 looks" video concept is genius and you've convinced me to hang onto this and try each of these.

I have done the same eye shadow look for years- base is a light shimmery gold and a light brown in the crease- every day the same thing. I have only ever bought neutral palletes- and only use the same two colors over and over. Inspired by you I just bought the Carli Bybel palette and the Jackie Aina pallette to explore color and go outside my comfort zone. I love that your eye looks are simple, wearable, classy, elegant, and use the occasional fun pop of color. Thank you for the inspiration you have given me to explore color!
I've been wondering about this palette for months. I saw it for 40% off at Nordstrom with free shipping this morning but was still on the fence. I came here and watched this since you promised "wearable" looks--and halfway through the video I placed my order. I wasn't sure a pale girl like me could wear this, and I do lean cool-neutral where you're more warm, but you convinced me. I'm really looking forward to playing around with it when it arrives!
I love this series. You create so many wearable looks. That being said, the whole time I kept thinking, I could do that with my Born to Run palette - and you did find some strong similarities. I haven’t bought a new palette in months because I took a lot at my 20-palette collection and realized I could come close to just about every (for me, wearable - I will never wear all yellow or all blue eyeshadow) look I’m seeing on RUclips with the palettes I have. I appreciate your showing the comparisons to remind us that we don’t have to buy every new palette just because it’s pretty, or to try to recreate a look we see.

I started watching makeup tutorials after lockdown, so I am new to makeup 💄.
I started with Huda mini light pallet (you recommended it😉) and fell in love with eyeshadow. Got huda mercury retrograde and I wanted to add more deeper colours, so I got Jackie aina pallet.
I never use this pallet by itself.
After I see your video I want to play with this pallet so much.

I wasn't entirely convinced that I would be into this palette but after watching your video and now that it's on sale I'm sold! I love the look that you created with the colour sponsored and also the one you created with lituation. Beautiful❤
BRAVO MY DEAR!!! 👏🏼 Excellent verbal descriptions of this palette as well as the unique shades in it! I have t been so thrilled with an eyeshadow palette release since Sultry ♥️ As you mentioned, Zamn is so amazing and actually initially sold the palette to me but I quickly fell hard for all the other shades 😍 Every single shadow is soooo good and even the red shimmer which I typically steer clear of is so pretty-the tone of it is so much better than anything I already own and I’m a MASSIVE eyeshadow palette lover just like you. I think this palette is OUTSTANDING 🔥 and my favorite eye looks you did were #5, 6 & 7 although I really liked all of them. You’re so right, it’s so versatile 👌🏼
I personally found the lighting to be a little washed out and too bright especially for showing true shades when swatching and even the eye looks. 😑 On the same theme of brightness and light, I’m so jealous that you’re having 92 degree weather right now ☀️ (aside from the fire burning outside your window 😮)
tanhome7 Thanks so much!!❤️ I agree- one of the more exciting palettes to come out in a while! And I totally see what you mean with the lighting- thank you for letting me know! It’s a tricky balance- I find if I turn down my lights, I get richer color, but I loose contrast and the reflective quality of the shimmery shades. One of these days I’ll get it just right!😉 I really appreciate the feedback though! It is SUPER helpful to me in figuring out my lighting!!
MandyLea it sounds tricky when trying to find an ideal balance for the lighting...do you have 1 or 2? Ring lights? Maybe try filming during the usual time of day without any lights and see what that looks like. The natural light may be a great friend to you. Stephanie Marie just started to do that and she says it’s working out beautifully for her.
As for swatches, you could film them separately like Tati sometimes does-she shows the swatching close-up so you can best see the shades and finishes. I dunno 🤷♀️ if these are helpful suggestions but I’m hoping they might be. You are doing a fabulous job on your channel considering you’re not purchasing a ton of new product on a regular basis-your talent for makeup, speaking on it and your personality are a terrific formula for a successful and much loved beauty channel 💗

Wow just saw this video and I absolutely love the looks you created! Will definitely try them! I love the palette but I find the pinks and purples a bit hard to blend.
Dang. This is the first review/swatch/test of this palette that actually makes me want it! I really enjoy the 7 looks videos to show the diversity of looks in any given palette so thanks for putting all the work into it! Also, other random comments:
1) I bought the Morphe M504 because I was looking for a larger, fluffier brush and it's awesome, so thanks for making the labels so easy when you use different brushes.
2) I love the tracks you use in your videos! At minute 4 when that track started, I got a little bizarrely excited because you used it in another video recently and I loved it so I'm glad you brought it back! (I know what it's like hunting for tracks on premium beat to find the perfect ones so this is the kind of stuff I notice)
3) I always really love the more nude pinky/peachy shades you choose for your lip color when you're making that element more muted! I mostly have had to avoid lip products for the last 12 years because of some overly sensitive lips, but I've been trying to branch out and find some things that give a really pretty pinky/peachy look without being too bright or too dull or making my lips look like I'm dead. My lips are quite pigmented so that makes it tricky in a way. I've actually noted a certain MAC color you've recommended (can't remember off the top of my head but it's open on a browser tab) and have been trying to pay attention to what you've been using in other videos. Would a comparison of nude/pink/peachy lip colors be a video you'd consider making to find colors that look great for fair/light skin tones? Maybe some that are more affordable and some that are a little more high end?

The dark purple and Trust Issues is one of my all time favorite combos.
I love the last 2 looks the most. I just bought this pallet today and I'm really digging the color shifty colors a LOT.
I love your 7looks videos as well as your others. Your eyeshadow tutorials show very pretty but not over the top looks. I am glad you compared it to Born to Run as I have that one. Although not totally a dupe several are pretty close. I have many other palettes and I think I have most of the shades. I recreated the green look this morning and while I liked the green in the Anastasia palette, I sheered out one in the BTR palette and it wasn’t too far off. What I do find is that with most of the shimmers in any palette, they seem to fade sooner than the rest of the other shadows used. I do use eye primer.

I love these videos so much!!! Green shift, muted purple and hot zamn were my favourites. I’ve seen other videos using this palette and I’ve though, yeah it’s ok, I’m a bit scared of the dark pigments. And then you do these amazing looks and put a totally different spin on it. I would buy this palette just for the shade sponsored. 🥰

I have this palette and think it's so pretty and unique. I agree with you about the special colors. They look similar to other colors I have but these just have something special about them that make them prettier. But I have a hard time using it. My eyes tend to get too dark when I use it. So thanks for this video because I think I see that I need to use a lighter hand with the transition shades. I love your videos

I have been very interested in this palette but being above my budget, have been hesitant. - Plus being more mature and fair skinned, was not sure if these bolds would be right for me. You made things look so subtle. I love how you did that. I want colors everywhere tho and know I botch it up. Thankyou also for the comparisons. You don't know how much that helped me. Even tho its getting fall, I am still wanting that Riviera palette. I hope to ask for one or the other for Christmas if either is around by then. Many blessings!!

Hi Mandy! I just discovered your channel and have been watching some of these past videos so I’m sorry if this comment is a little out of context. During the swatch comparisons (an aspect of these videos that I absolutely adore!! So helpful!) I wanted to suggest the comparison between Sponsored in the JA palette and the shade Cactus in the BH Cosmetics Desert Oasis palette. They’re not completely the same but they are darn close!

I just got my abh jackie Ana pallet and discovers my ccolour dusk to dawn pallet is an exact dupe! I only paid around 10 dollars for my ccolour and the formula is really good!!!
I just have to say I love that you show looks without false lashes. Nothing against them, but I can’t just wear looks that only work with giant eyelashes covering them because I can’t use falsies everyday

I really didn't want to love this palette, but when I swatched it in Ulta I fell in love. I resisted the purchase and figured I'd give it some time. When I saw this 7 looks I had to watch to justify if I really needed it and I wish you didn't do such a good job, haha! Beautiful looks, as always. I am so tempted to buy this one. Also by the so jaded (just seen the 7 looks video) ... jeez, I am gonna have to ask for a loan. By the way, how about the red shadow? They say it is like some shadow by Pat McGrath. It must match your blue eyes beautifully. Just a suggestion ... And yes, it matches anybody and it was high time that a big brand supported collabs with coloured people aimed (though not exclusively at all) at darker tones. Best regards.

I totally agree with you, in France we are rather discreet about makeup, especially to go to work, suddenly like you I think it's the best palette created for ABH! you can put on makeup as well during the day without being afraid of the colors proposed here, as makeup "loaded" in the evening ..

MandyLea you’re welcome! The looks you do are easy to follow. Some other videos I’ve watched on not just this palette but other ones as well, people do these cut creases and add five or so shades with very small detailed work and then I’m left a little lost. I do really love this palette though and can’t wait to play in it some more!
