@@MommyBloxYT a great way to deal with them is build a sky base if anyone comes but you can pick up the floor below them and kill them before they have a chance to destroy your base

3:57 the watchtower is pretty much useless since the new whistle rework helps you find all the employees near your base. Basically, when you whistle, you can see all employees and players near you like an ESP that shows employees as red and players as blue.
But I think it's still useful, because you can find good plots that you want and you can see employees without attracting their attention, because while you can see employees when you whistle, it also attracts their attention. Side note: you can also use this last part to your advantage; by having a balcony nearer to the ground and whistling you can lure employees near you and away from your friends.
Well first that’s not the only reason to build a watchtower but you can also find nearby bases and plots that could be of use to you. The second thing is sure the whistle esp thing can be useful however it can also attract worker to you and they might find spaces in your base to attack you putting you into potential harm
Tip to avoid griefers : Try making your base a reasonable distance from the floor. If a random person gets into your base, save time to reinforce it by simply removing the floor from the person’s feet. That will make them fall onto the ground and have a hard time getting back into the base without being spleefed.
Tip: at 3:29 when Rayd talks about the watch tower, don’t use railings. Use those small tables that are transparent (the rectangle ones) and make a wall out of them. The glass on the table will make the darkness slightly more light, and removes the fog, making it easier to see. Remember this tip when making watch towers.
4:05 I did that one time. I used palets and made a massive base. A lot of players started helping me make it without me having to say anything in chat. It was fun. Everyone made there own rooms and everything
They made room. Put a dozen of donuts/apples. 2 people made a holy room (tv wall, floor) and I made a Oreo with black and white stuff. 8 people wanted to help me build a room. Because I dudnt know how to make stuff into walls. As soon everyone in the server helped me, as soon there was GameCubes in my room, holy room and donut dozen room. someone called XXstrawberrycutieXX got 3 GameCubes in my room, it was fun chaos, even the bacon hair was helping
And I made a food storage and rare room with the Rare GameCubes (4). and the bacon hair made his room. A bacon hair joined my base. Then a bacon made a toilet room, bacon said ‘that’s my room it’s a toilet room’ and yeah.
I remember playing this game 2 years ago, no negative memories from this game, just chill times running away from the employees, tesming up with other players and making giant castles. truly such a good game
Speaking of having street lights there's a better way, you can just use waypoints to mark your important location so that when you die or get lost it's 99.99% easy to get to ur base while it's 60% easy to go to your base at the night time (due to employees)
TIPS: As a new 3008 player i have builded a fence once, the problem is it takes long if you use the same item so you can use big items near you and make sure if you build a tall fence, add a sliding gap to it so you dont end up having to move it out of the way while being chased by an employee. During the day its a good time to start building your fort and collecting some food and medkits. You should build your fort entrance, walls, and roof first. You should also put a waypoint in your base, then search for a kitchen or a place with food and medkits. I hope this helped a- Also this video was very useful and i might use some of these things i didnt know :D
Another tip I would like to mention is to trap employees. Using tubs, and really any other item that covers the tubs surface can trap an employee. Though I highly recommend you do this only in the day time. Employees often walk in a straight line for a decent amount of time. During foggy days and night they’ll often change directions based on what player the AI is focused on.
The best way to make a door in a private server is turning off collide on one of the walls, then select the ‘door’ and spawn it without collide. (what turning off collide does is if you have it off, you can walk through objects. Employees can’t do this.)
In a public server, the best way to make a door is a roof trapdoor. Make some complex way to get up (some ladder parkour or bookshelf climbing ladder) with a small gap players can barely fit through in the roof. This makes it extremely difficult for employees to get in. Another good base idea i’ve made with randoms where it was an extremely small, cramped space with this type of entrance and we didn’t die unless we were out late getting supplies.
TIP: if you wanna hide your food without it being suspicious, grab a bathtub or some sort of storage like bathtubs and place it on the ground, if you place a bed (small) on top of it, it will just look like your trying to make details, and that is one way to stop food thieves!
I don't really play 3008 now days because I've had multiple briefers coming to my friend and i's base and destroying it. They even said they don't care and just left like nothing happened. I have reported them a few times but i happened to be the one getting warnings. So I really hope roblox does something about it. Plus we took hours building the bases..

I tend to mark the large bars / cafes near me as I scout the area. it helps to have bearings to grab food and know which direction you are approaching your base. I have however, stopped playing Roblox due to Roblox being a uhh bastardization or shell of what is once was.
doors are useful, but that slide door with the small entrance is just not worth it, the amount of energy your wasting every time you go in and out of your base will more than likely just end up in you dying from having no energy, especially when you have a smaller food supply than some others around the map. it's honestly just a novelty, it looks cool, but it doesn't work as well as the other options.
If you are in a private server while you arent using the time, just build a really tall (example: 178 studs) base so that you don't need the watchtower. Make sure that in the process of building, you have time progresses off!
Try using beds only for doors. But I don’t recommend using normal beds that are small (twin beds) for walls or ceiling. They are small and will take a little longer to build. Use big items like some tables, pallets ect.
Tip: Click “T” on your keyboard or if your on mobile, click the boxes on top of the screen. And click “Waypoints” you will know where your base is at all times.

for the always build a door one, you don’t really need to build it. My friend taught me how to noclip through walls and you can do it in public servers too. So it could serve as an emergency entrance when an employee is after you. Run, crouch then flick your screen once you almost hit the wall. It’s simple. Edit: THEY PATCHED IT 😭😭
but on the flip side of adding a lot to your base and whatnot, if a griefer comes and does feel like taking it all apart that's a bunch of time and effort just for it to be destroyed. and it's happened to me a couple times that griefers had a friend or two and they all just go at it and ruin everything.
A really good way to not get griefed is to build your base around 150-200 studs in the air. And before the entrance make a pathway with a billiard table, and right on your entrance make a floor with at least 3 layers. So if someone you dont know or isnt your teammate climbw up, you can just remove the table when they are getting on it. You cant jump across it and the griefer will die from fall damage. Make an exclusion zone below your trap so that person cant fall on somethin like a couch and survive. That is the best way to combat griefers that i currently know.
I think bunk beds are a good door because i realized that if you enter the bunk bed if you flip it so you have a thick piece of the bunk bed on the bottom and a thin piece on top and depending on floor mechanics you can make it so you can only enter by crouching and if the employes try to grt in erll it wont work then will work as a hallway to because bunk beds can be used as a hallway.
Very cool tips! This update seems fantastic and opens up a lot of new building ideas! I also I have a question, what grid lock do you have when you're building?
He’s super underrated and I’m so glad that I saw this video because not much people know how to build and I think all the 3008 videos and all the bases I’ve seen have been pretty much worse than this and these tips might help me because it’s been boring by just building surviving and getting food but learning tips, new bases, entrances is interesting to learn for yourself and doing it yourself too.
AMEN! I love Rayd’s videos! If you like these kind, I’m going to be uploading some similarly with tips and hopefully helpful info soon! Like Rayd, I enjoy helping others learn and actually sharing knowledge! It only helps us all 👍🏼
Usually I build my bases near 2 or 3 cafeterias and I always have to put waypoints everywhere just to make sure I don't get lost because it happens a lot
I’ve always loved to build a bunk bed bunker. Two bunk beds reinforced with the plot walls, tables, and a see-through rectangular glass table. Real simple. Modify my idea all you want to your hearts extent. Or don’t, idk
a good thing to do is if you make a floating base make sure to double ur floores so when people pick up the floor under you theres another under that to save you.
*whistling tip* : it still shows an icon for your friend’s screen, and if you have somebody friended in the server, they will turn blue showing you where they are if it turns red, then its a worker/employee/scp/mr. annoying whatever u call it *food tip* : if you think that the food/drinks in 2.7 are still the same, your wrong, its all different meaning you hsve no idea what does what *defending tip* : in 2.71d pushing employees came back! there will be a faint red circle and you can click/tap it to push the employee aaand if ur friend is brave and ur a scaredy cat or vice versa, one of you guys can guard the base by pushing away nearby employees why is this comment so long
Your comment is long because it’s very helpful 👍🏼 You’re so right about the food! Like the donut for example, it’s nowhere near as valuable as it once was! I believe the water, canned sodas and fruit are the best food items to have! They seem to help 3 or all 4 of the needs (the fruit does anyway) Thanks for sharing!
i just make pillar base, there tall, staff cant get up, and its easier to defend if theres people gonna raid your base, just move a few blocks and they fall to there death, and plus the view is amazing, plus i also keep some smaller items like toasters and use it as weapons against staff because you can throw or drop them and nock them out.
7:29 eh well… one time i build a 2 story base on the shelves and somebody was moving my little toys i had put on my shelf and I tried communicating with them in the chat telling them to please leave but then they just completely ruined my whole base. and oh yes it was very decorative i had green led and plants
Me, my sis and my cousin made such a nice house on one of the palette shelves and it was very beautiful. Although there werent any grievers in the server. It was somehow a problem when we started to build it. (Btw is putting the foods on shelves a good place for storage or no?(
Tips: Don’t whistle at night, whistling attracts workers, and can put you at high risk of getting attacked. Don’t make your base TOO big, having a really, really big base makes it hard to find items for the walls and roof. It also takes a really long time to finish your base. You can push workers, so if they are chasing you, turn around and push them. Then quickly get out of their sight while they’re stunned.
I am not new but the watch base and the table door are useful since the tower helps knowing where employees are and where intruders (bad players that steal food and ruin your house) are
Hi Rayd! A good door i mainly see a a crouch door. Btw i am writing this in the middle of the vid, tbh i do like good looking bases but a bathtub looks fine in my opinion and a useful aspect of the game is waypoint which allow you to mark bases and cafeterias and a ton more! I have rugby now so wish me luck! Btw BUILD!!!
Small employees can go through crouch doors, so I love slide doors and slit doors. Slide doors: crouch door except it’s lower and you have to slide through it Slit doors: a door except you have to walk sideways through it.
@@bestiesroblox-daisy8293 best combination is actually a crouch door and then a slit door. the reason crouch is better than slide is because of how much energy is wasted going in and out the base. it takes over half your energy to go inside and back out.
I NEVER EVER build doors because mainly, I always forget to or I don’t have time. I found this video very helpful for me to remember all the main things I have to remember while building in 3008. Thank you for this amazing video! Build ❤
I love it and hate it. My favorite things? Obunga TV channel, that's it. Least favorite? Hunger and thirst, I find it makes the game too complicated and tedious, and I don't like the readdition of pallet colors, as shelf bases that I make will look chaotic, while I like more simplistic and orderly looking builds, which having random colors spread in-between is the opposite of that, and I don't want to visit multiple shelf plots just to get the same color all-round. I also don't like how I can't push employees on mobile. I also can't crouch down or run easily because there's a large delay in-between those activating, which is very annoying.
Tip: not only use watchtower, but also use the whistle feature- it highlights employees in red, and other players in blue. Can also be used for spotting a friend, as it reveals the user if they whistle back (I think)
I've been playing for a year, and I've had a lot of fun, but i never thought about the little details. Some of these tips will definitely come in handy.
There’s also things called “waypoints” If you don’t know what they do if you spawn one you can see where your base is and what’s very useful is when you die form something but dying is pretty hard if you have a base You can also customize your waypoint
I don't know you, but I agree. You gave me an idea, since solo servers have free commands. Ima make a super base, then. Summon a king, and I will make the night fall. The base will be reduced to rubble and I will probably be dead, but it will be fun.
0:22 once our base was intruded by alot of people because we were the most stacked and safest base, when it was night and i was grabbing food i ran to the waypoint quickly which i'll explain later what it is. After i arrived at my base THE ENTRANCE WAS BLOCKED. That night i got murdered by 3 employees and two of those sphere monsters idk what that is but yeah. Now onto waypoints, waypoints are one of the most useful tools as it helps u trackback to where ur base is. Some bases i build is either at the pillar or at those tall racks, with alot of wood supply and ladders. I guess building bases at the ground is good? But ur base is more exposed to both employees and PEOPLE. oh and now this comment is just a tutorial guide. lol Recommended foods are those lemons and ice cream box thingy. They both serve a good amount of energy and decent hunger. Also make entrances that the employees psychically cant enter but you and ur friends can. When u have alot of friends/teammates you can split up people in groups of searching either food for the base or build up the base. I recommend prioritize foods at either monday or friday cause thats when the food restocks.
How i build a base 1. Find bunk bed area the one with a cross wall 2. Find the place with a nearby wall or the base wall 3. Get walls from the wood tiles 4. Make a bunker where only players can enter block it off at night or when it gets hectic 5. Use the bunk beds for ladders cover it with other bunk beds 6. Wall off the area or design the bunker if your lazy
Idk, it doesn’t really matter the shape of the base, as long as you have lights food and cover you are usually safe. I love building in greenhouses, they already come with 2 walls and a roof.
my favorite door is the parkour door, you have to parkour up to the base. also haven't watched the whole video but yknow those areas with pizzas and chips, i call those areas the gamer bedrooms and if you base there you have inf food so always base on or near small food areas just don't base on large food areas as thats a public resource.
I remember going on my friends priv server and we spent like 3 hours building a massive super base with 2 other friends. At the end my friend activated some "challenge" or something and a giant spider frog monster appeared that did a ton of damage and broke like the whole base really quickly
I like building in one player scp 3008 because, you get access to stuff vip servers have, which mean In my opinion you dont need a door since you can spawn stuff or just set the time to infinite so you can just build
I would honestly love a feature where as time goes on the employees get more dangerous like getting faster do more damage and maybe eventually being able to tear basss apart
in some doors small employees can still come so i prefer to just use the technique where you just add and remove the pallet but its still kinda cool tho
Tip:get the stick bug character it can make you go through very small spaces with a crouch and even smaller with the slide but there is a down side you cannot climb straight ladder
I always build slide doors. Tiny gaps in the wall you slide under. I make it so tiny that not even the leg employee can fit in. You can only get through by sliding.
The only problem with ground slide doors is if you dont have energy them you cant get through it and if you do it to far back you can get stuck under the table.

windows are one of the most useful things in bases. you can check your perimeter if you dont have a watchtower of solid base yet.
That's what i do!
It works great.
I use that entire area for my base everytime and it's fast and easy
wait a second.... Thirst...?
I guess it got removed?
Yeah I remember back then there was thirst. When I came back to 3008 It was gone.

Very cool tips! This update seems fantastic and opens up a lot of new building ideas!
I also I have a question, what grid lock do you have when you're building?
0.75, he said it in his waterslide video i think
@@fariiesz Oh shoot what?? Waterslide? How much has this update brought??!??!!!!?!!
Snap to grid size is .25 @rayd It’s perfect!
I do that also
Oh, nice idea- I usually wall wrap onto the top of a nearby shelf and start from there, but yours is a lot more efficient!
rayd: its becomes lagging when you walk into the food
Me: does he not know that food does not move around when you drop it
if you place it it doesnt move but if you drop it it movies
the thing that makes 3008 fun is when an employee gets in base and your with your friends rather than securing it completely
I always make a slide entrance so I slide down under a table or something. I make it so that the little dwarfs can't enter either.
a good thing to do is if you make a floating base make sure to double ur floores so when people pick up the floor under you theres another under that to save you.
*whistling tip* : it still shows an icon for your friend’s screen, and if you have somebody friended in the server, they will turn blue showing you where they are
if it turns red, then its a worker/employee/scp/mr. annoying whatever u call it
*food tip* : if you think that the food/drinks in 2.7 are still the same, your wrong, its all different meaning you hsve no idea what does what
*defending tip* : in 2.71d pushing employees came back! there will be a faint red circle and you can click/tap it to push the employee aaand if ur friend is brave and ur a scaredy cat or vice versa, one of you guys can guard the base by pushing away nearby employees
why is this comment so long
Your comment is long because it’s very helpful 👍🏼
You’re so right about the food! Like the donut for example, it’s nowhere near as valuable as it once was! I believe the water, canned sodas and fruit are the best food items to have! They seem to help 3 or all 4 of the needs (the fruit does anyway)
Thanks for sharing!
@@MommyBloxYT yw!
i just make pillar base, there tall, staff cant get up, and its easier to defend if theres people gonna raid your base, just move a few blocks and they fall to there death, and plus the view is amazing, plus i also keep some smaller items like toasters and use it as weapons against staff because you can throw or drop them and nock them out.
4:29 you can also use it to scout for more materials
This was very helpful! Thank you!

eh well… one time i build a 2 story base on the shelves and somebody was moving my little toys i had put on my shelf and I tried communicating with them in the chat telling them to please leave but then they just completely ruined my whole base. and oh yes it was very decorative i had green led and plants
I'm not sure if that was me but I definitely wasn't moving things (I was new at that time and I didn't know how to play) was it made of pallets tho?-

Ngl i think some griefers want to destroy one that someone worked so hard on which is why more decorations may lead to more destruction
I have a genuine question do u literally ever get bored of ikea
Nope :)
1 word
NEVER
Yes.
Nope
@Mvdrrq I know like wtf how can u only play this game and not anything else without getting bored
Me, my sis and my cousin made such a nice house on one of the palette shelves and it was very beautiful. Although there werent any grievers in the server. It was somehow a problem when we started to build it. (Btw is putting the foods on shelves a good place for storage or no?(
Tips:
Don’t whistle at night, whistling attracts workers, and can put you at high risk of getting attacked.
Don’t make your base TOO big, having a really, really big base makes it hard to find items for the walls and roof. It also takes a really long time to finish your base.
You can push workers, so if they are chasing you, turn around and push them. Then quickly get out of their sight while they’re stunned.
how do i push?
@@igfhssz920 Aim the white cross (in the middle of your screen) at a worker and tap it. You can only push workers at night I think
I build base and axs and hurt around for whip ading and ruasing
Sowwy far bad gramer
Yeah true
question of the day for rayd: would you ever play 3008 with your subscribers?
Can you build a base with all the items in the game?(if you can :>) including the toys and vip stuff and decorate it
Great idea! I’m working on something similar to that!
I am not new but the watch base and the table door are useful since the tower helps knowing where employees are and where intruders (bad players that steal food and ruin your house) are
3:23 you missed a GameCube
Saw lol
Slide doors: crouch door except it’s lower and you have to slide through it
Slit doors: a door except you have to walk sideways through it.
It’s still good at keeping employees out!
All of this is just my opinion! :D
good luck with the rugby
@@bestiesroblox-daisy8293 best combination is actually a crouch door and then a slit door. the reason crouch is better than slide is because of how much energy is wasted going in and out the base. it takes over half your energy to go inside and back out.

hey rayd! one question. how do you feel about the 2.71 update?
Luv😇😍
I love it and hate it. My favorite things? Obunga TV channel, that's it. Least favorite? Hunger and thirst, I find it makes the game too complicated and tedious, and I don't like the readdition of pallet colors, as shelf bases that I make will look chaotic, while I like more simplistic and orderly looking builds, which having random colors spread in-between is the opposite of that, and I don't want to visit multiple shelf plots just to get the same color all-round. I also don't like how I can't push employees on mobile. I also can't crouch down or run easily because there's a large delay in-between those activating, which is very annoying.
it’s honestly ok, has it’s pros and cons
I hate it
It’s annoying tbh, because you can’t spawn employees and you can’t do a lot of stuff
1:48 since when was there a thirst bar???
Pretty sure it got deleted

B . U . I . L . D .
Nice to see you’re back. Also food is anchored when you drop it off
Tip: not only use watchtower, but also use the whistle feature- it highlights employees in red, and other players in blue. Can also be used for spotting a friend, as it reveals the user if they whistle back (I think)
I've been playing for a year, and I've had a lot of fun, but i never thought about the little details. Some of these tips will definitely come in handy.
2:04 smth else here is that you can build a base near a food court or food spawn so that each day you can refill a bit without needing to explore
3:37 you can just whistle to find the highlight of the employees.. (or hubert i guess)
lol one time i got so much food that everyone started lagging and couldn’t move
There’s also things called “waypoints”
If you don’t know what they do if you spawn one you can see where your base is and what’s very useful is when you die form something but dying is pretty hard if you have a base
You can also customize your waypoint
I don't know you, but I agree. You gave me an idea, since solo servers have free commands. Ima make a super base, then. Summon a king, and I will make the night fall. The base will be reduced to rubble and I will probably be dead, but it will be fun.
0:22
once our base was intruded by alot of people because we were the most stacked and safest base, when it was night and i was grabbing food i ran to the waypoint quickly which i'll explain later what it is.
But ur base is more exposed to both employees and PEOPLE.
oh and now this comment is just a tutorial guide. lol
Recommended foods are those lemons and ice cream box thingy.
How i build a base
1. Find bunk bed area the one with a cross wall
2. Find the place with a nearby wall or the base wall
3. Get walls from the wood tiles
4. Make a bunker where only players can enter block it off at night or when it gets hectic
5. Use the bunk beds for ladders cover it with other bunk beds
6. Wall off the area or design the bunker if your lazy
i love this persons channels cause it is soo useful in 3008 😄😄😄😄😄
Idk, it doesn’t really matter the shape of the base, as long as you have lights food and cover you are usually safe.
Also make waypoints, It helps you find your base if you ever get lost and it shows you the distance between you and the waypoint.
Keep the vreat work up (build)
i had a lot of trouble building before but now i know how to build nice bases thx!
I remember going on my friends priv server and we spent like 3 hours building a massive super base with 2 other friends. At the end my friend activated some "challenge" or something and a giant spider frog monster appeared that did a ton of damage and broke like the whole base really quickly
My and my friend literally build gaming rooms- nice purple LED, black carpets, AC, a bed, sometimes even a bathroom-
When it comes to decorating i really like getting abunch of plushes, putting them on a couch infront of a tv and putting food in there hands
Creating a waypoint will also help you so you can locate it quickly and don't have to worry about losing it
Tip:get the stick bug character it can make you go through very small spaces with a crouch and even smaller with the slide but there is a down side you cannot climb straight ladder
BUILD! 2. My favorate soda is Root Beer
For me i like getting toiler and sofa, or whatever and building up with each bit supporting each other and going up so they cant reach me XD
I always build slide doors. Tiny gaps in the wall you slide under. I make it so tiny that not even the leg employee can fit in. You can only get through by sliding.
Thanks so much! My friend and I just build a staircase on an isle pillar and call it good lol
With the watchtower one, at night your friend can hold a light or bright object so you know where they are
Me : builds a super cool looking base
A random griefer : i guess you've wondered where ive been~
For food storage I always used to use a metal shelf and a metal table, and lamp… Even sometimes the small barrel thingy’s
Thanks for the tips
"that food is gonna be flying everywhere causing chaos" XD
The only problem with ground slide doors is if you dont have energy them you cant get through it and if you do it to far back you can get stuck under the table.
3008 players: ah yes, i build a base that took me 10 hours, time to leave
real, what happened to me
I’m no that good at BUILDing in 3008 but this kinda helps
i never put "doors" in my homes, more like holes. but u have to do some parkour that the npcs cant do to get there
