warwick proxy is kinda good too, W for speed, can take 1v2 and if you get a 1v2 you're ok in your lane and you killed the jungler/mid laner with it too so it impact the map and the game a lot, you rush tiamat and you can kill waves fast, you can regen to stay too

But it was very quickly figured out that if you go a ranged champ into him, it forces him to go blue kayn if you play him top, which is a lot weaker than red kayn. So with it being so easily countered. People stopped doing it, but who thinks that much these days?
There is a dude named Ollip who mains Kayn top and mostly gets blue form (even against melee matchups, I remember he used to roam a lot but i think now he just delays transformation more idk). But I guess in pro play specifically you dont want an assassin top

Plus, tank build only has like 5% less damage than full damage build, as riot are idiots and made tanks do the most damage in the game, balanced right? so why go assassin when you could have almost as much damage and be 2x3 times more tanky. Well the nature of getting ahead means you fall off late. Challengers that are doing powerclimbs through various servers always say that they try to end games fast in low elo because they know they'll get fed and keeping the game going longer just reduces how fed you are relatively to the enemies.

This has been a strat in Wild Rift for years, usually done with blue kayn, oftentimes kayn top will go mid for first rotation if enemy mid is ranged and top is not. Great split pushing, good for objective roaming, good wave clear and a little bit of sustain. It's fun to play but kinda gimmicky
Champ is weak asf in lane; However, proxying gets around that entirely. The only way you break proxy on him is by fighting, thus guaranteeing form xp without rng trades in lane. All this happens while still securing gold preventing his falloff! 17:30
Think its a neat strat, but where Baus is failing is he is using the E to initiate the proxy instead of saving it for the escape. Proxy only really works if you live at least 50% of the time.
