Loads more to play with imho: More an E lydian into an E major(ionian) vibe in the first progression than straight E major you can use the C# minor(Aeolian) and it will fit too just choose the notes to land on wisely, second part is more G lydian (first two chords) into E Lydian then into D lydian due to the changes ( loads of lydian tbh but see below what you can play with) youll need to think about a phrase that you can land on the last chord change cos its not in key and doesnt have many relative notes to sound familiar To recap Parent scales ( and their modes) to play with : B major , E major D major , B Major , A major At least thats how I hear it in my head. Have fun! This is a very nice track
Although playing E ionian/C# natural minor against all of is not chromatically inside, it sure does create some nice melodic play, not exactly sure why yet but I guess some type of chromaticism that leads to an almost melodic minor feel to it, again all just ear related but must be creating some flatted/sharp extension type of harmonies 🤔
I love the discussion on these tracks, makes it feel like we have a little jam community! Also great track breakdown! There are definitely a bunch of different ways to approach this track. When I was creating it I was definitely thinking about moving Major 7th / Lydian sounds around. When it came time to create the chart for the track I went with the E Major / E Dorian approach because it was a little easier to summarize on one screen. Cheers! 🤘 Tim
Is there a way i can have this track rearranged a bit. If i can ge a version of this exact track. But. With the chorus longer. And the other part shortend and where i can place that part in the timing im looking for by using this track. Because this chorus ive heard this in my dreams as a kid. I Know who had this idea before u of this music and dude its perfect and its so me and i like to be able to utilize some of ur track writing and my playing together we can make amazing life changing sonic bliss for the rest of us 144,000 😊@BackingTracksByTim

God, that's such a beautiful Strandberg.
It sure is!
Giving Plini vibes
Yeah man! He is a big influence for me! 🤘
@@BackingTracksByTim just took this for another spin. A lot of emotion in this track considering buying the bundle so I can record a solo over it.
Could I jam to this track using E Lydian? Not that savvy using modes yet :)
C# natural minor, pentatonic, and c# blues scale work good. You could useE lydian to..
C# Dorian minor and e lydian work well as well..
Something outside and spacey try a B whole tone scale
@@robphillips8351 Thank you for your replies!. Gave me an idea, how to onboard the track.
@@robphillips8351 can confirm B major is great
