#StuGIII, #sturmgeschütz, #Tactics
Thank you again for the great detail on tactics and supporting images, super presentation.
What a beautiful sight; style and menace rolled into a small package
What a badass little vehicle for it's day, certainly not a main battle tank but a real pain in the ass to the enemies it faced
very good content. thank you.
Thanks for the Video Sir.
Outstanding video and presentation.
Stug is just one of those rare incidents where the stars align to make a weapon that hits on all cylinders. Effective, versatile, cheap, deadly, simple in concept, it's just a gun in a box on tracks, but it was one is the best weapons in the German service, and it was used and ab effective weapon from the start to the finish, which is uncommon.
Now name a grenadier who couldn't advance behind that?! That tank hunter with a modern gun could run across eastern Europe right now!
Sehr gut
I would like the Stug for daily driver .
Best weapon of that time.
Maravilloso un vehiculo de 80 años ....yo lo veo vigente todavia admiracion por los nasis ....increible
Absolutely vicious in the bocage
Question: How effective was the stug 3 and 4 in urban combat when supported by infantry?
So effective that the Stug became the most successful tank of ww2
StuG lll 💯💥❣
I have to notice that your lack of vision as you say. The problem of every tank crew was. And that's why it was quite normal for the German tank commanders to get an overview by looking out of the hatch. As is still the case today.
Targeting from the safe medium distance worked fine with the Stugs.
No close defence equipment made them extremely sensitive in the urban warfare.
Anyway, Wehrmacht excelled in the open battlefield, but failed in the urban war, like Stalingrad.
Should have upgraded the main gun on the FROM THE PANZER IV'S no
Nice to see someone ripping around in a Stug, just as intended…🎉🎉🎉
Why does the StuG have those Tires in the Back?
For reserve !
@@bengtwahlstedt1021 I realized that those are STug tires.
They are spare road wheels. Like they carry spare track segments, they get damaged and wear out. That's where they mount them.
So Artillery Commanders were second rate??
Yes because the normal artillery lacked the mobility that the self-propelled artillery like the Hummel with the powerful 15 cm sFH 18 L/30 howitzer, perhaps the best German self-propelled artillery during the war. The great advantage is that it had good off road capability and could fire in a few minutes without any preparations and the after shooting it quickly moved to another position avoiding counter artillery. A thing that the traditional artillery couldn't and was largely labouring and took time to call in an half-track to tow it away
