Wasn't covid the BEST time to launch an online design course?
Incredible resilience with so many blows wow! Really enjoyed the story (respect on such a fast turnaround on this Figma team)
Great talk MDS! Did you use some Teehan+Lax UI Kits for those early side projects? Would be pretty meta, if so.
100%!
💥Matt is such a legend. I'm a huge fan. Woo go Matt. Embracing and learning from these failures! Love it.
Matt is awesome.
Very good talk, echoes of my own career. Best of success to you!
Matt is such a G, Always learned something new from this guy!
Matt’s a legend. Great session, Matt! Thanks for all you’ve contributed to the industry. I am a proud AIUX student that used the course to help me bridge from graphic design to UX design almost a decade ago.
Thank you :)
Side projects are what make you shine like a star. They show that you are not driven by money all the time, but by a passion for creativity.
This guy build some confusing apps and expecting people to pay $29 per year 😂
Great talk :D
OMG, the animated placeholder man!
just what i needed to hear as a developer. thank you.
great talk
Excellent
Super nice talk, thank you :)
Bravo
What a legend.
Thanks😢
Inspiring!
Placeholder text in input elements is pretty much a no go according to most accessibility experts. I tend to agree with them, it doesn't test too well either.
This is SO not a point 😉
It's not a placeholder text? It's the label moving up. Yes, there are other issues with that. But not as bad as placeholder text that disapears.
