I remember watching this at 7 years old! For some reason I remembered that brand new black truck being the first Black Stallion but I was obviously wrong
Crunch of the week.... his heart stopped and was pronounced dead..... but the track crew revived him. Army Armstrong, the first to the scene was actually waiting to interview him after the wreck... l mean race. Here, let's get Army's take. Army... Hey! That kids' tough as nails, tough as they come. He put it all out on the line today for the spectators and you all watching at home. He was still so pumped that it only took 2 or 3 chest compressions and he started coming around. He is up and moving on about 6 cylinders but believe you me by next week this kid is going to be hitting on all 8...
5:00 What!? A monster truck driver has died in a crash before? I mean yeah he was revived and all, but i never heard of any driver being dead in a crash before.

Yep and when he was in the hospital Fred Schaefer of Bear Foot offered him a job n he went to work for him.
Fun Fact:
The Weapon 1 monster truck would later become a prop on The Red Green Show, they masked off the "weapon" part of the truck's name.
