    Info on property:
    A sculptural red bridge entrance flows into a rebuilt home of double height brick spaces, flooded with natural light from a fully glazed rear elevation
    Back in 1981, our clients created a modest self-built house called Willowbrook named after the plot's surrounding trees and brook. They commissioned Paul Archer Design to extend and rejuvenate the house after many years as a rental property.
    Rebuilt, Willowbrook is a spacious and light filled house, offering wide views connected to the garden. The interiors now offer flexible living arrangements, with additional floor space added to the side wing. The tall spaces have been designed to allow adaption for future use; in the main double height space, the sliding partitions close to form new private areas to accommodate guests. Roof lights and double height glazing make the most of the added volumes, flooding the tall internal spaces with natural light.

    Mr. Mustard! Another exquisite hone but wonderfully presented by you - yes love the scarlet bridge (entry), windrows, reclaimed brick, massive curtains in the main bedroom. I don't know if I am a fan of the secret kitchen because I believe in practicality and simplicity but I love the outdoor space. Thanks for sharing;

    Absolutely glorious! I adore this sleek, attractive home. All the little details that give it more space are so lovely. The furnishings feel inviting. The window and ceiling features that allow every room to be flooded with light are essential and draw me in. This is a joyful home that completely attracts me. It is a masterpiece!

    I am probably the farthest thing from minimalist that there ever could be, usually more is more for me. But this place is fabulous, so open, airy, uncluttered and stylish! And I couldn't help but notice all the beautiful and eccentric chairs and couches and chaises! I enjoy all your videos David and would be happy to continue watching whatever style of home you feature.

    I really appreciate architecture that invites the outside in, the privilege to have a home with a lovely backyard like this one does would be a joy to experience. A beautiful home or should I say ‘Hitchkockian Dollhouse’

    Fab. I really liked the tour. I was taken with that art piece at the beginning of the tour when you first walked in - that yellow square with a sculptural man hanging onto the canvas? Love. xoxo

    Absolutely love this house, especially the interior design 😍 It's nice that you show a different type of home again too, even though I loved all your previous tiny house videos. Go on with this great diversity of houses ☺️

    I wonder why they designed the "second kitchen" so closed off?

    I wouldn't mind seeing the backyard in more detail. Could you focus a few videos on spectacular minimalist design in outdoor living spaces? (The inside could have its own separate video if it's good enough.) Also, I was strangely disturbed by the hidden kitchen that doesn't go with the rest of the house.

      Great suggestion!
      Haha the extra kitchen is more for when you have bigger parties and need some extra space.

    I don't know why, but I would feel uncomfortable sitting in the living room at night by those big windows....

      There's no neighbour that have a direct view in there so it's pretty private :)

    I don't like the design or architecture. No specific reason. But good video, as always!
