Thank You, David. This is what I believe is needed. You take the time to explain, in an easy to understand way, what is necessary for a great number of Elementor users.
As always, well thought out and presented - and with some further info that Elementor and some of the other video tutorial makers have left out. The concept of global colours and fonts and how they get linked into typography and other settings was finally made clear by you. If nothing else, it actually takes what one gets from a theme a step further through this linking functionality. What I'd hope for next from you might be some testing as to whether (or how) these universal settings make their way into posts and such. As you demonstrated in a previous video (with an earlier version of Elementor's styling system) how some themes wouldn't work properly with Elementor styling. To summarize in a question, 'Would Elementor v3 with the Hello theme provide full control and consistency in posts written using the block editor?' The next logical step would be to see if one could now build a WooCommerce website using just Hello and Elementor Pro, since WC (and perhaps some membership site themes) is kind of the last place where a full-fledged WP theme seems to be a requirement.
Hi Ian, At this time, there is no connection between the Elementor Theme Styles and Gutenberg. They are "global" throughout Elementor. I can imagine them providing a way for themes to use the Elementor theme styles and so be compatible.
@@Elementor360 Presumably, if one were to use the Hello theme - which provides no way to style anything inside Gutenberg - then styling within the block editor would be non-existent. That is, you'd have to take whatever it gave you!
Great video, thank you. I Have a question for you. I really like the global setting and I am using the hello theme. When the theme style is set globally, the fonts and colours work well for posts and pages. But my buttons in post created with gutenberg don't pick up the theme styles from the elementor theme style settings. Do you know why? If yes, how can this be fixed?
Great video and very informative as always you are, and really easy to follow and understand..... My question is what about astra theme, I watched another video and explanation you did about setting up with elementor and astra.... What would recommend to do now? ... Set up all using Elementor or astra? Thanks once again for all your help and input.
Unfortunately the settings in Elementor don't carry over to the theme or to Gutenberg. Hopefully the Elementor team will be able to get that to work, but in the meantime, you will need to set the colors and fonts in both Elementor and the theme Customizer.
@@Elementor360 hi, thankyou so much for answering so quickly 👍😊, your so helpful..... So are your saying to set it up as per your blog post astra and elementor? e360.co/match-elementor-and-astra-styles-and-breakpoints/ Thanks again for your help.😊Is very much appreciated.
Well done. Also, it's so calming.
Thank you for the positive feedback.

@@iwbowden - correct. That's the way its working now. I noticed that Central Color Palette added support for Elementor 3.
This is a great presentation...you did this in a great style. And, as Verdi Heinz said, very calming. Thank you. :)
Very well explained - as always. Thank you!

My understanding is that Elementor doesn't have any integration with Gutenberg, so the button style settings from Elementor don't carry over.
As always - thorough and really helpful!
Great work excellent ! and thank you very much

@@adied7725 - Yes, but also set the colors and typography in both Astra and Elementor, if you want to use the new Elementor theme settings.
Excellent. Thank you.
Please try to talk a little bit faster next time, as I had to speedup the video, just in case I'd fall asleep.
Thanks for the comment. I'm not offended if you listen at a faster speed :)
