I'm using scenes for single feeds as well, just so the urls for different guests stay the same. It's easier to assign a user to the "Guest 1" scene than copying a URL into OBS and I can still use my overlays with feeds positioned correctly

What about the sound? How do you manage to avoid having feedback if you want to record the scene in OBS? I mean, the director performing as well shoud route their mic audio to the guests and this audio will also be in the scene.

I have a real example and some questions:
I organize workshops with about 25 people.
I want them to easily come and join the room.
I want to see them all, all the time!
    But they should see
    Sometimes ONLY see+hear my face.
Sometimes see ONLY my blackboard and hear me.
sometimes see+hear me+one of the Attendees.
And at the end hear all for clapping.
This will change during the workshop.
So what do I do on obsStudio? Or do I start 2 instances of obsStudio?
I thought I can have 2 scenes, one for me to see all the time, all of them, and Scene2 what they see shared by obsStudio.
But which link do I send them to invite them to join with their camera? And see ONLY scene2?

Hi! Some follow up questions: Why are you using obs studio? are you live streaming or recording?

    • @Paartherapeut
      @Paartherapeut 2 года назад +1

@@JonMyer live streaming. I use obs studio because you can do things like lower third. Mix the picture more free. For example put the blackboard in the right top corner and then change the position to be with my face in the right top corner etc.

Correct. I was just trying to figure out the end results and what you were live streaming.

Are you using VDO ninja and OBS Studio?

You can turn on snap to a point to line up the cameras perfectly

Hi folks and great video 👍✌️
Audio wise, are you disabling the audio within OBS ie your pod mic and using the ninja source?
Ticking the appropriate box when creating scenes etc?
    Thanks in advance

I'm letting vdo.ninja control the audio within the browser source, it's a checkbox. I don't add it as a separate source in OBS. I hope that helps.

@@JonMyer thank you, so within OBS do you just disconnect mics etc?
At present I have main mic and second source capturing from Discord.
But if able to switch both them off and allow vdo.ninja to do it, then I'm all over that lol.
      Thank you kindly 👍✌️

Switch them off as in only added the browser source with audio and use vdo.ninja.

Ive been using skype and Zoom since it allows me to send my livestram as virtual camera, is there a way to do the same with VDO? if you have a video I would love to see it

VDO ninja wouldn't be used as a virtual cam, but used with another system like OBS studio for virtual cam.
