It has a little bit of dark humor, but it's mostly that unamusing "it's awkward and/or someone is a loser and this is taking way too long" humor that disneymarvel relies on. Plus, this is the most pansy iteration of Eddie I've ever seen, not to mention that he's going at it without anyone to even hate on or be personal against. The ONLY way this is could even hope to be better than Topher Grace as Venom is that Topher's career was spent as a joke. This iteration of Eddie isn't any better if we only pay attention to the writing, not the actor. Again, this Eddie isn't spiteful and the "simba yote" has no reason to cling to him. Good movie, there's a lot of reviews saying it's bad. Don't worry about that, there's loads of movies with bad reviews that I liked and even more with good reviews I thought were bad. One of those things, if you like marvel films it's worth a watch.
I just really hope they're don't do the same mistakes as the amazing spiderman 2 and try and do too much in one movie. Really hoping this is a huge success

What if the organization that's experimenting with the symbiote was Parker Industries? I know that's not how it will go down here, but it's the best way I can think of incorporating Peter Parker in a Spiderman-less Venom film. Could've been an interesting concept.
Critics slated this! But I really enjoyed it, it was well acted music was was amazing and shot really well. Editing was a bit off but not enough to ruin the movie.
