- We spend the day in Foster, Neb., where a group of teamsters get together each year to put up loose hay using vintage haymaking equipment. They use sickle bar mowers, buck and dump rakes, an overshot stacker, hay loader and stationary hay press.

This is the best Rural Heritage video!♥
Rode many a mile on one of those dump rakes. We always bunched the windrows before sweeping to the stacker. I did notice the man moving the stacker was directly under the forks when he did it. Good way to get yourself killed. I saw the chain break on our stacker. The fork pinned my uncle to the tractor he was using to pull with. My father jumped onto the hood of the tractor and lifted the fork by hand enough for my uncle to slide free. Luckily no life threatening injuries. The next day my father tried lifting that fork again and could not budge it.
Exelente vídeo!!!👏👏👏👏🇱🇷🇧🇷
Looks good. Better slow them horses down on the hay loader or the fellows on the wagon might blow a head gasket. 😅
lol I had the same thought. The team on the baler is the one I want pulling the loader!
Curious to know, too, who might be building new hay loaders in Wisconsin?
Expendido,,, notável, maravilhoso .😁🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 Viva os americanos ,,, são bons em tudo que FAZEM 🇺🇸😁😁😁
Hey that was good. Sometimes I wonder if slower is better. Everything is so fast nowadays!
Putting hay up loose let's you put it up slightly wetter and it will still dry.
Putting it up wetter means less leaf loss and more protein.
Also this machinery has negligible annual cost since it lasts much longer.
Who’s the fella building new in Winsconsin?
This is neat, but I don’t like how some of the behavior is cruelty to the horses and unnecessary in todays world…
