I just wanted to let you know that I rarely ever comment on the music I hear on RUclips cause I'm rarely moved but you have not only inspired me to start playing piano again but you helped me through the toughest time of my life. I recently spent 4 months in the hospital fighting for my life. I was on life support and dialysis and almost didn't make it. I have also never been so scared in my life. During my stay, I discovered your channel and listened to your playing every single day for more than half of my stay and you helped me through some of the darkest days of my life. This arrangement is brilliant, and I’m thrilled Neil will be publishing the sheet music for it on musicnotes.com. I can’t wait to tackle it. Though 40-somethings like me may mostly remember Houston’s powerful rendition, I think this cover also includes more delicate, almost tender elements reminiscent of George Benson’s original recording. That’s what makes this arrangement special. This song was written by one of my favorite composers, Michael Masser along with Linda Creed. They would certainly approve of Neil’s interpretation. Bravo!

Is this a Yamaha GB1K?
No, this is a Yamaha GA1. The GB1K is used on all of my uploads from April 2020 onwards.
How do you like the GB1K? I just bought one! They will have it delivered soon. I plan to record some piano albums and I hope I can get a good sound out of it.
I think it’s fantastic. My GA1 always would drift out of tune often. The GB1K is holding stable beautifully. I am a huge fan of bringing the strings on behind the acoustic piano. The tone isn’t as bright as the GA1 but I mic it up and add affects on the mixing desk. You will really enjoy it.

Great interpretation, very good timing, but bright 🔆 sound of the medium is too crispy for me , it lacks roundness
