      hi! thanksssssss. If you change the blend mode from 'opaque' to 'masked' in the left material settings panel, you can try applying an opacity map.
      Displacement maps can be applied in modelling mode, but unfortunately geometry cache is not applicable.

    I'm studying digital fashion in Japan. Your tutorials are the best I've ever seen.
    I've seen it all and tried it myself.
    I would like to ask you one question.
    Please let me know if there is anything I should be careful about when rendering to make the metahuman's skin look more realistic.
    I've tried various things, but I'm having trouble getting anything like your work.

      check out that you set LOD 0 of metahuman, first. and for realistic look, you should play around with lighting. angles, light power, distance..etc.
      lighting, post process volume, camera setting are basic key point.

    This is like the best tutorial ever on this topic. Thank you!! :) However when I imported UDIMs, my tiling was completely off. Do you happen to have any idea why?

      Thanks dohrah. I may check few things.
      Make sure ‘turn on virtual texture’ in UE setting, make sure you used correct file name and number.

    thak brooooooooooooo you are the best bro.. but if you want export texture tineable not is possible because for example if you dupicate x10 in marvelous designer in marvelos designer dont understan how many you repit the texture but is ´possible load all texture alembic for example in my case i going to load in maya in uv load diferent material in thes part and export to unreal how diferente alembic and all load

      That's ture. Clo live sync will be helpful to use multiple material slots. but you can also use obj or fbx to transfer material slots to alembic as well then export it as 'facesets' (I normally use blender to do that if it needs).

    Sup?! Why don’t you use the new chaos cloth plugin for cloth sim inside ue5? This won’t need from you that much drive space while using .abc animation …

      sup :) I still love in alembic beacuse of quality of cloth physics but I'm developing chaos cloth physics as well! it seems we've got more options for clothes pythics thesedays

    Hello bro
    I just one more help, I imported my alembic file in unreal engine but I want to use textures in UE only.
    When I imported an FBX from MD I had given different slots for my outfit but in alembic there can be put only one material for the whole outfit, can you please tell me how should I export from MD as an alembic file but still could use materials of UE5??

      now clo3d/ marvelous has a livelink which allows you to get alembics with multiple material slots

    Does Tris or quads of the garment in Clo3d create a better look of the mesh and their texture in Unreal Engine?

      it would be almost same if you do retopology but if you use garment anim, high poly would probably look better in UE.

      make sure zipper is unfreezed and you can also control collision and weight in property editor.

      if you want to apply multiple materials, you need to add material slots in another software like blender or maybe c4d because default alembic from MD/CLO has only 1 slot.
