@@GoldAddiction. Thanks, I just got to the mountain town yesterday at 11 am. I plan on staying in my camper a month, for starters. Yesterday I met two people. Both are miners in this town that own businesses here.. One is going to take me mining on Mondays and Tuesdays. The only two days he takes off from his business. The other man told me to come back tomorrow (today) and talk to him. He has a part time job for me. I'm not sure what he's talking about but I'll go back and talk to him today. He mentioned he owns 60 acres and his grandpa owns the land mine here that tourists visit. He gave me the 1 hr 10 minute tour for free, lol. He must know I'm a green horn because all my equipment is brand new. He hinted that he might let me mine on his property if I'm respectful of his property (of course I will be). Hopefully he will wind up letting me. I can go on BLM land but I would have to cross his property to get to a certain area of BLM land. Taking that part time job he mentioned, whatever it is, might be a good idea although I came here to mine. I'll see what happens today.
