If you do The Center you can focus a bit more in the underwater biome. The Center has those "Atlantis" underwater domes where you can breathe and build bases, plus a huge ocean and small islands. And when you move to Scorched Earth you'll miss water :)
Well, underwater ARK is just plain cancer usually, since everything aggroes on you, no matter what, really annoying. Plus, those water domes you cannot bring tames in.

Center, Ragnarok, Valguero, Crystal Isles are all modded maps that are nice but add ons not incorporated into the game. I'd suggest Scorch Earth next. It introduces fantasy creatures, it has weather effects you have to contend with, and it's a vast desert. It also has explorer notes, modded maps don't, and it'll really give the series a linear feel. The modded maps would be best served after the lore maps, in my opinion. Excited no matter what. Look forward to the next Ark series.
And, just an fyi. Chronological would technically ONLY be the storyline maps, NOT the modded maps (Center, Ragnarok, Valguero & Crystal Isle). The proper official Ark maps are (in order) The Island, Scorched Earth, Aberration, Exctintion and then Genesis! The other maps were made by modders then were added to the game as freebies, but have no part in the Ark story and have no explorer notes in any of them.

Scorched Earth is hard, but it was my first real map so I have a soft spot for it. It's also one of only two maps where you can take flyers. I've taken the beta manticore with nothing but 7 high level war argies.
Thank you for recording your videos. my husband was in a car accident where he next lost his life on 4/2. He has followed your videos throughout his hospital stay and also at home. they inspire him to train more so he can play computer which is very difficult due to his injuries. so again thanks for making your videos.
For hard, I'd recommend getting a team of mostly megatherium with a few daeodon, and some spinos along with your Yuti. But make sure they are all around level 200. The megatherium and spinos get a bonus in this arena, the megatherium for fighting the bugs and the spinos because of some water in the arena. Don't waste your Rexes or Theris on the broodmother. Generally, for all the bosses, you want a team that's at least level 200+, with imprinting if you can manage it. You will want to go to other maps in order to get higher level tames, especially the non-story maps like Crystal Isles or Ragnarock.

But its a moot point because why wouldn't you just use megatherium, and maybe, spinos since they both get buffs in the arena that put them above both rex and theri? Save rex and theri for other fights like the monkey, dragon and overseer.
@@timeshark8727 Sure, but most people prefer to get one army instead of having to breed multiple ones (which I did once and now I can understand why). And Theris are probably the best when it comes to that. Rexes could potentially be, too, but the problem is (for normal stats) you want to level your Dragon Rexes a lot differently than for other bosses. For a Theri it doesn't matter due to cakes.

If space or time was an issue I'd probably go with just Theris for the main army with a pair of Yutis and pigs on the side. The side benefit of being able to use Theris to harvest just about anything would be nice streamlining too.
If you want to stay on the story theme, then you should do scorched earth next. But if you want to play one of the best (in my opinion) maps in the game, play ragnarok. You will not be dissapointed!
tip: when you riding yuti in fight, ignore arneos (spiders), let them hit your yuty, they dont do much, or try to avoid them, that way your rexes will ignore them mostly too :) soon as your new target is set, dinos tend to follow that
i reccomend the main story line maps, so only dlcs, meaning The Island, Scorched Earth, Abberation, Extinction then genesis. Cuz ragnarok, center, valguero and crystal isles are community maps so they have no correlation with the main game

Glock, congratulations on killing the Broodmother. RIP, Thick, she was amazing. While I'm sad you're not going to see what else the Island has to offer, I'm super excited to see you enjoying all the other maps. One thing to note, though: the four free maps aren't considered truly 'canon" maps. Meaning that if you feel like following the 'story' of the Arks, you should head to Scorched Earth next, even if The Center was released before it. Ragnarok is absolutely beautiful, but has some elements from some of the other expansion maps (Wyverns and Deathworms) that you won't find on the Island. My personal favorite map is Crystal Isles, with just how magnificent it looks, and all the fun stuff on that map. Wherever you choose to go next, I'm confident it's going to be a lot of fun to watch you explore!

If you want to play on a really good looking map like you said last episode, I HIGHLY recommend valguero. Probably the best looking map, has high level dinos, and fun to play on!
I remember back in the good old days when you summoned Broodmother to the regular world map rather than going to her den. My tribe trapped her in dino gates and made an automated chitin farm off her spawned spiders. We had ankys to knockback the writhing hordes, with sabers to damage and cleanup. After we filled a couple vaults and maxed out a bronto worth of inventory.... We finally just killed her off. Those were the days lol

May thick Rest in peace, but I honestly knew she'd die but you always want the OGs to be with you in every fight possible. If you're ever gonna fight the Magic dragon, always use herbivores cuz the dragon takes less DMG from carnivores,and the dragon ignores armour,and never stay near the corpse after its dead. And make sure next time you fight a boss you're tames have at least 10-20 thousand health,might take some time but that's what you gotta do.

Personally, Ragnarok is an easier map than The Island to me, easier to get resources like metal. I would love to see you play harder maps such as Scorched Earth where you fight the elements much more. The difficulty progression is something like Ragnarok
Hey @Glock9 there is a total of 4 bosses first is the brood mother second is the giant ape guy I forget his name 3rd is the dragon and the final boss is the best of all of them there is 3 tiers of each boss and the final boss requires a trophy from the other bosses to open the door in the volcano which allow you to have 40 dinosaurs enter you must pass through the biggest cave and reach the deepest location that then enters the tech part of the cave where the portal lays for the final boss

If you are only looking at story maps, true. Some of the best maps are non-story maps though.

.Awesome! Really enjoyed the series and watching you play this game - it's one of my favorites. IMO Rag is a forever home kind of a map (thus lots of people will suggest it) so if you plan to do all of the maps I'd go so far as to say do that one last! Thanks again for the series, already looking forward to your next... Maybe with a mod or two heh.
Personally, Ragnarok is an easier map than The Island to me, easier to get resources like metal. I would love to see you play harder maps such as Scorched Earth where you fight the elements much more. The difficulty progression is something like Ragnarok
Hey @Glock9 there is a total of 4 bosses first is the brood mother second is the giant ape guy I forget his name 3rd is the dragon and the final boss is the best of all of them there is 3 tiers of each boss and the final boss requires a trophy from the other bosses to open the door in the volcano which allow you to have 40 dinosaurs enter you must pass through the biggest cave and reach the deepest location that then enters the tech part of the cave where the portal lays for the final boss

Ragnarock is a very large map with a lot of cool stuff and high lvl dinos to tame. So would be cool to see you on there.
Play on scorched Earth or aberration give yourself a little challenge
Love the series and that you always do the cools stuff as the first thing and not letting us wait for 15 minutes

Can't bring gigas into boss fights. There is a height limit of like 900 units and gigas are well above that.
