I fell in love with Marcia's voice the very first time she appeared on Australian tv. When I watch recordings of her live performances, a beautiful song combined with Marcia's magical voice actually make me break down and cry, it's just so beautiful. What a beautiful woman and OMG what a beautiful voice
The album the majority of the songs she does come from was such a return to her top form ...My fav songs Marcia recorded were from her Wizard Records days with the lush orchestrations .
I love Marcia she is a great performer! I knew her in our teens we used to hang out together! She made it big time! Can't help but to notice she loves blue nails! They must be her trademark!
@@kerebuchanan1934 your playing in this concert was amazing. That was a great era to see live music in Sydney with the likes of yourself and Victor. So good.
Wondering what year this was, please??? Marcia is looking and sounding her very best. Definitely one of my favourite YT videos - I will always love hearing Marcia - but listening to the way the band is backing her is sensational.
@@kerebuchanan1934 , yes, definitely between 1999 and 2006. Straight after she cut her new CD at Fox Studios in Paddington and I think before she went to the U.S.A.
Very professional band. One of my good friends John on guitars. Been in the industry forever and still going. Fantastic guitarist( can play anything) and singer
, in one song, she stood in front of me singing, but I felt awkward knowing the cameras might be on my face and because I actually didn't know the song. I think they edited that song out, and I felt bad, because I winked at her during the performance. She might have thought I was flirting, but I wasn't because I respect her as a great performer, it was only because I felt awkward, a nervous wink if you like. It did throw her out though, but you wouldn't have noticed. She later referred to me at The Basement back stage, that he's the Bus Driver from the ABC. Lucky she didn't know I'd been a fan since working as an Ambulance Officer in Randwick some 20 years earlier, but Deni knows the story because I met up with her in the late 90's! Marcia is my favourite singer.
'I will hear you' is simply fantastic. The emotion is palpable. Took me back to so.eone I used to know 😊

Pretty sure we did this was around 1999. Recorded @ the old ABC in Gore Hill. This was a great strong band indeed, Kere.

Does anyone have the full unedited version?
I've got it on VHS from the screening night. Such a great concert and terrific band
