@@KingoftheRoad-2023 Totally disagree. Shania just wanted to be friends with Fred, as he knew exactly how she felt. It took some time before she realised she loved him. Fred told her he wanted things to go further, it was at that point she told him she wanted him as a friend. Fred being as nice as he is, respected her decision. Eventually, they obviously became a lovely couple. It’s just a shame they didn’t have a baby together

She is so so gorgeous. I think she looks most beautiful when she has a very simple look going on. Like in her Up! Live in Chicago DVD, nothing much was really done to her hair, and her makeup seemed to be quite minimal. I hate how much makeup she's been wearing lately during her 2015 press tour, and the crazy big curly hair that was blonde at one point. Imo it just doesn't suit her, and too much makeup/hair that's too big and curly swallows up her features.

George was the finest interviewer anywhere. Guests always appreciated his intelligent and straight forward (yet down to earth, caring) approach. I was so disappointed when his show was cancelled as a cost cutting measure by the Canadian Broadcorping Castration! They didn't know just what they had with the George Stroumboulopoulos show. Instead, they tried to fit him into Hockey Night In Canada, wth?

@5:31 SO true. If we want to help others who are going through a difficult experience, sometimes it requires the strength of vulnerability--sharing about our own difficult experiences so the person feels seen and heard. "I think you have to give testimony and explain why you understand someone. Then they will have a reason to listen and believe you. And then they will benefit from that" because they won't feel so alone. -Shania Twain. What a beautiful soul.

U may have lost sight of love and faith but u still have what makes u who u r that makes a difference in other peoples life and in ur own. Pray and embrace the things that lift up ur spirit. Singing helps express yourself but it takes spirit and a gifted soul like u to make ur music happen. Find emotional release in these things that help with the healing process. If I could spend a day with u I'd share myself with u along with everything I know because I understand u. 2 of the same personality and heart. May God bless u:)

I'm sorry, does no one find it odd that during any of this period, and I've watched the entire docuseries that she did, that she never mentions that it was Lyme disease which originally triggered the dysphonia. Don't come for me, I bought her tour tickets in June and bought her new album. I'm just saying she would've gotten all that extensive work done back in 2010/11 and yet now in the last year and a half she's been saying it was actually Lyme disease.
Does anyone know when she added the fact officially in an interview that it was Lyme disease, and not just stress over time. Because in this interview, the Oprah interview, and the docuseries where she documents going to the vocal doctors they say it simply is compounded stress and tension built up over her life as a performing artist. It makes it look a little suspicious, almost like she felt she needed an actual diagnosable condition to be the cause of her dysphonia rather than her own self-induced stress to legitimately blame for the damage to her voice.

dinkytankman wait one. "Forgiveness?" Would someone who lives remotely for example "forgive" a bear for messing in their berry patch? A snake for shedding it's skin on your patio? A raccoon for grubbing in your outdoor container plants? They are who they are; it is their nature, their character which reveals itself consistently through their behavior. Forgiveness" isn't even on the menu. It's a moot point.
People have the right to be who they are; who are we to determine they require "forgiveness?" Particularly as bestowed by us? That's arrogant and presumptuous. This "Either"/"Or" mentality appears to be a characteristic of the Forgiveness Police-and reflects the black and white world of little children.
